Toronto DIS Meet?

Janet and I have been discussing getting together October 2 or 3. Anyone else up for a get together and ideas for where?

Past meets have been at the Food Court at Square One, Rainforest Café Yorkdale, Shell Service Centre Mississauga and also the Toronto Zoo (this past spring), PCW and Centre Island.

Would you consider an arena in Vaughn

Would love to join everyone but DD has her first tournament of the year that weekend in Vaughn.

Count me on as a maybe. I think that i have nothing planned that weekend. A DIS meet just what I need to put me in the spirit for my trip at the end of the month.
Hockey Mom if a location is picked near the rink you might be able to drop over for a little bit between games.

October 2 would be great!!! Unfortunately, I have to attend a memorial service for my mother-in-law on October 3.

Let me know where! (I obviously should have been here when Square One was the destination! ) This may be too far from Vaughan, but there's Wolfgang Puck's new restaurant at the Oakville/Mississauga border.

BTW, I checked out where the Wolfgang Puck's is and I don't think they would be able to handle a DISMeet!LOL They had white tablecloths and Wine Glasses already set on the Table! They were suppose to open at 4:00 p.m. on a Sunday and they didn't!

Count me in! I have a dentist's appointment at 1pm on the Saturday but I can change it if necessary (any excuse to postpone seeing the dentist!). Any of the locations is fine with me. I'm not going to bring the kids this time though so I can concentrate on the dis meet!

BTW, I'm in on Scatch's suggestion to stow away in Cdnmickeylover's luggage too! Is it possible to have the meet later in Oct (but before Oct 26 because that's when we leave for OUR Disney trip and cruise) so Cdnmickeylover can make it and tell us all about her cruise?

A good friend of mine is running that tourney in Vaughan. Unfortunatley we are already doing the Toronto Areos one the next weekend so we aren't in the Vaughan tourney.

What age is your daughter. Mine is Peewee. What organization does she play for???

Sorry it's a lame excuse but hey it's the only one I have.

Anyone who wants can stow away in the van but I have to warn you there probably won't be much room! We haven't figured out this pack light thing.

We will be returning late on the 17th and are busy on the 23rd so I'm not sure about a later dismeet. Just gives us an excuse to have another one before Christmas!
