DH does not want to dress up. OK with me and the rest of our party.

Does Topsiders offer the same menu as the other restaurants (lobster tails)?

How is Topsiders for dinner?

Hows room service for lunch or dinner? Would like to have a meal out on our verandah.

Thanks, going Magic Western in 20 days cant wait.

Hi Linda,

The menu at Topsiders is different, and it is set up as a buffet (but I believe the servers still serve you--I'm not positive on this)

As far as room service--it is a limited menu. The only rooms that can order room service from the restaurant's menus are concierge cabins (Cat's 1,2 & 3). Should your DH wish to have dinner off of the menu from one of the restaurants he can always go to the restaurant and request one of the meals "to go."
They will certainly accomodate you with the request--just be sure to remind them that you need silverware!

How many meals can you request to go? We have 4 in the stateroom. Do they all have to be the same?

Silverware and SALT great idea, would have never thought of that.

What do we do with the dishes after? (don't want room stewart to clean up after us.) Or maybe extra tip/phone card?

Can we request starters, main course and dessert.

How do we find out menu on formal night? So we know what we want to request "to go"

Do we go to assigned dining room rotation to order" to go"?

Thanks
Linda

You can request as many meals as you would like--just remember that you have to be able to carry them back to the stateroom. They will let you see a menu to order--and you can get whatever you would like from the menu.

You can go to any dining room to "order" your food--not just your assisnged room.

Since you can eat as much as you would like it's not a problem to get food at any time.

You just place your dishes outside your room and your room steward will come and get them.

Getting food to go may depend on the servers. We tried one year to get DD a meal to go - she fell asleep - and we were told we had to order from room service. The reason is that they don't like the guests walking around with food and it takes away tip money from room service CM's. We have only had success in getting extra desserts to go.
Of course, this all depends on the servers.

I think you would be very happy with Topsider's for dinner. We are not even bringing formal wear this time, so will go to Topsider's on formal night! (I know, everyone gasp...this vacation is for PURE relaxation...no worrying about hair, clothes, or uncomfortable shoes!):)

When I have done this I have just gone to the Head Server at the front of the restaurant and made the request. We have never had a problem getting anything. Guess it depends on who you get--but anyone should get this for you.
