Top Chef Seven--May Contain Spoilers!

I think the producers are trying NOT to make this a def win for Angelo by making Ed his nemesis. No one would watch if it was a definite winner, also, they need antagonism to keep it interesting.

I've never been an Ed fan, he seems too wimpy and insecure to me. His obsession with Angelo is a turn off, too, though I'm sure it's edited to make him a rival. He was nowhere near Tiffany in prowess, yet he and Kevin and Kelly are still there? :confused3 Ridiculous.:headache:

The final three should've been Kenny, Angelo and Tiffany with Tiff winning. Now THAT would've been a competition! :yay:

I was hoping for this as well.

In the words of Amy Pohler and Seth Meyers, "REALLY???"

While Kevin obviously deserved to win with last night's meal, it was a real let down since there were much better cooks in the competition who should have stayed when he should have gone.

They really need to do away with the "what you cooked today is what we judge" mentality. It's been compounding for seasons, but when they repeatedly seem to get things "wrong," they can't help but start to worry about how they are starting to alienate the viewers.

The past 2 seasons I have seen a marked increase in the amount of volatility on the blogs & their comments. Instead of being a blog about the show, Tom puts out a weekly load of BS to justify why they voted the way they did.

Kevin was at the bottom as often as he was at the top, to me that is not "Top Chef" material. I could see if he was at the bottom once, but his attitude and his performances were so up and down, I don't think he deserved the win.

Of course, with that final 3, I really don't think I would have been satisfied with any of them winning.

Bravo's slogan of "See what happens next" is becoming the fuel for this show. While drama existed in the early seasons, it seems that show now exists solely as a place for drama, and the food is now secondary.

I woulda never guessed Kevin would win when so early in the season he was suckingggggggggg!

I actually wanted Angelo to win but thats more because I like Hung.
As far as worthy top chef winners I'd say Howard, Hung, Michael Voltaggio deserved their wins. I feel that season 2 Marcel Season Richard Blais season 4 Season 5 Stefan Richter though to be honest I really wanted Kevin to win season 6 lol
Sorry, no way should Voltaggio have won. In the final couple of challenges, he serve raw eggs & raw shrimp, and made a few other major errors that I don't recall now.

My biggest problem was with Angelo being allowed back in the kitchen without the slightest regard for any additional health or safety measures. He didn't even wear gloves! I for one sure as heck wouldn't want to be eating a meal cooked by a chef who was vomiting uncontrollably less than 24 hours earlier! (Now, that doesn't mean that I haven't when I've gone out to eat, but at least it wasn't knowingly! :rotfl:)

OH HELL NO!!!! KEVEN!!!

:sad2::sad2::sad2::eek:

The the fact that you misspelled his name is a little more obvious when you increase the font size

I wanted Ed to win, I think food wise he was most deserving. I did not want Angelo to win. His attitude at the beginning of the season turned me off and he wasn't as strong as the competition went on. I was very surprised that Kevin won and am a little proud because he is from my hometown.

MTE. My interest dropped significantly after Kenny left, but I was still rooting for Tiffany. Of the last three, I wanted Angelo to win a) because I thought he was the best but 2) I was done with the Whining Brothers, Ed and Kevin.

Of the final three, I wanted Angelo to win. I didn't think that Kevin even deserved to be in the final 3 and Ed was just such a butt-head to everyone in the last two episodes that I was just happy it wasn't him. The complete disrespect that he showed Ilan was the last straw for me.

Still, I guess I'm OK with Kevin. I wasn't sure why he was in the finals but he certainly stepped up his game for the last two episodes.

Oh ... and I still  Hung!

Ditto!:lmao:

So glad this season is over though. That is the icing on the cake for me.;)

Yeah so I spelled his name wrong whoopee.:rolleyes1

I wanted Tiff to win and I think that KevIn was not the best chef.
So put that in your fry pan and cook it.

I just watched and all I can say is :confused3

Ugh!!

I still love Angelo, Tiff and Kenny. :thumbsup2

We finally watched too. Is there a full moon or something??? First Michael Grimm somehow wins AGT now KEVIN wins Top Chef?!? For real?

Sheesh.

It should have been Tiffany.

And I aslso saw Angelo peel the said gloves off with a curse word.

And did any of you watch the wierd characters who are making up TOp Chef Desserts?

Careful Jennasis. You might want to edit your post for people who've taped AGT and haven't seen or heard the results yet and are waiting to watch their taped copy.

One time, someone accidentally cross posted results on a different TV show thread and World War 3 almost broke out, :duck: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: because someone said the results of one show shouldn't be talked about on a different TV show thread, (until waaaay, way after.)

Hmmm...might've been ME who said that! :lmao:

Regardless. AGT aired, it's 24 hours later. So I feel comfortable with my mentioning of it. And still miffed about THAT result too. Great...now I have to sulk for a whole 'nuther day over Top Chef!
:rotfl:

I couldn't get into it. Maybe it was on too late at nite.

I'm hoping it gets better, I was really disappointed in it. But I do love Jacques Torres  :lovestruc One of these days I'll get to his shop.

I hated every single contestant in the new series. The only normal one was the Mallika person rest all were characters out of a sitcom.
