That is so funny! It is also classic of these types of posts. DW & I love Kona for every meal, and it has gotten flamed a bit here. I also love Boma - favorite buffet for me - and it has taken some shots from people. To each their own for sure. I think we can all agree that the Frozen Drinks from the Mexican CS, the ones from France CS, and the pints in Germany and the UK are enjoyed by all!!
Yup. That's why I don't even pay much attention to the restaurants that have only a few people who say they didn't like them. It's also important to see WHAT they're saying about them. People that just give a list of restaurants they don't like doesn't help much.
Value: If they don't like them because they didn't get a good value for the meal, that's totally subjective. And also? You know what the prices are going in, so before you even try it, you know what you're paying.
Service: If there's a problem with the service, it could just be a bad day. Now, review after review of bad service means there might be something to worry about.
Food: If the quality of the food is badly reviewed a few times, it could be just some bad luck. If there are lots, then maybe there's something to worry about.
Atmosphere: This is totally up to personal taste. If someone says they don't like the atmosphere, that doesn't help. If they say, "I don't like XYZ Restaurant because it's really loud and chaotic and they have the kids running everywhere" then this helps. If you don't mind that kind of thing, then it won't matter to you.
It's been a while since we've been so I can't remember all the restaurants, but I know we ate at Sci Fi, Chefs de France, Bongos, Marrakesh, and Planet Hollywood. I can't remember where we ate in MK. Of those, we LOVED Chefs and Marrakesh. Sci Fi was cute and the food was okay, but it's a novelty thing and we probably wouldn't do it again...but not because there was anything really WRONG with it. Bongos was horrid for us, but about half of that was the food choices that we didn't like. Also, we had slow service. Planet Hollywood was Planet Hollywood....same as every other one...same as a Hard Rock Cafe. It was loud, but it was supposed to be. We wouldn't have eaten there if we could have walked into anywhere else that looked appetizing. When we're on vacation, I try my best to not eat somewhere we've got at home. So, at Disney, there will be no McDonald's, Planet Hollywood, or ESPN. Also, we have some good Morroccon (sp?), Chinese, Japanese, etc, but the only real French we have would be La Madeline. Which is good, but still.

We do have some good Brazillian, but it's expensive and in crowded downtown, so that's something we'd be more likely to try at Disney.
