1. Roxy's Diner in the Stratosphere ~ will definately be going again in March. It is the funnest resturant I've ever eaten at. Five stars out of five.
2. Hoover Dam - incredible manmade wonder
3. Red Rock Canyon - great scenic drive
4. Bellagio Conservatory
5. Shopping and sight-seeing through the hotels.

I would love to take the kids to see the hoover dam and the grand canyon but the excusions look so expensive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Love to sleep in and order room service and eat it while watching a movie i haven't gotten to see in the theater.
2. Love to sit and play slots and drink hot chocolate with whipped creme and baileys.
3. Love to enjoy the world class food, great resturants on and off the strip.
4. Mystere.. The original and in my humble opinion the best of the Cirque shows.
5. Bellagio conservatory, museums and the Titanic exhibit.

Those "flyer" distributors are called porn slappers and they have increased business since the economy has changed.

Great Britain person - you don't have to take an expensive "tour" of the grand canyon. Contact the park through the internet, stay on site at one of the park service hotels for a night and take the FREE park service tours and the tram goes everywhere and is either free or very cheap. I would not give a penny to a tour guide when the Park Service provides such a great and satisfying service for you! There is lots to do that is free. Ditto Hoover Dam - if you have a rental car, just drive up there (about an hour or so away) and pay for the Park Service tour! There is a gift shop, too.

Check out your options on line at the Park Service sites.

I agree with others that you won't see any hookers just randomly unless you are looking. If you are looking, you can certainly find them! Especially around 2 am downtown on Fremont Street. On the strip, they tend to be much higher end and harder to spot unless you are a single man.

A co worker of mine just returned from Vegas this morning and all he could brag about is the buffet he ate. I don't recall the name of it but he said it was $25 per person and you have to ride an escalator downstairs. He was amazed at how long the buffet bar was and kept bragging about. He didn't say much about the gambling. He said he stayed at the Tropiciana(?). Being from the southeast, he also talked about the "dry" heat out there as compared to the humidity we have on the eastern side.

That would be the buffet at Planet Hollywood which is advertised as the best in Vegas.

My top 5s every time I go:

1) dancing all night long---too many great clubs to choose from with new ones opening up all the time
2) drink specials: yummy slushes and free drinks or 2 for 1s all the time
3) great food: I like the Rio buffet, Grand Lux Cafe in the Venetian, Carnegie Deli in the Mirage (great sandwiches! Huge--split with someone), Happy Hour at Seableu at the MGM grand for $1 oysters and shrimp, Hash House a Go Go 5 minutes off the strip, Hot n Juicy for crawfish off the strip
4) Shopping: High end to Outlet...shopaholic's dream
5) Swimming and lounging poolside

Atomic Museum and the Nevada Test Site Tour if you are looking for something different to do. Also the Boneyard Tour (thru all the old neon signs) is also a very "Las Vegas Vacation" thing to do.....

*Luxor motion ride & museum (we're currently booked there-dependent on what better deal comes along lol)? We've got a BOGO, just not sure i want to buy a 3rd tix for me KWIM?

*NY NY, worth a stroll to gawk, probably will skip the coaster?

*Harley Davidson cafe? dh always wants a tshirt from where-ever lol

*Tropicana casino - was told they have performers overs the slots...not to be confused with Circus-Circus? haven't been able to find any info re this...thought since it was in the same block we'd check it out

They used to have this and it was a very nice show -- but last time I saw it at the Trop had to be at least 10 years ago (if not more).....

Concerning the preformers over the slots at the Trop:

They used to have this over the slots years ago -- but the last time I saw it had to be at LEAST 10 years ago. It was fun to watch as you while you were there, either gambling or people watching!

1: The Grand Canyon
2: Cirque show - Love ( Big Beatles fan)
3: The buffets - ANY - but my fav was the Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan
4: The Venetian - the food here is amazing and the Gondola ride was surreal.
5: BB Kings - great live music - food not so much.

I used to live in Vegas for 2 years while going to college.

I loved:

1.) The NY NY arcade.
2.) The Las Vegas Monorail
3.) walking around the hotel/casinos
4.) Downtown experience
5.) Las Vegas Buses... lol.
