Has any one had to have a visit from the tooth fairy while at WDW? Was there something extra special you did? (I'm thinking maybe involving Tink?)
We are travelling to WDW in just a week and our DD has a loose tooth that may hang on just long enough to get to Disney.

The tooth fairy at Disney left my son some trading pins under his pillow :)

The Tooth Fairy apparently asked Tink to do her job while we were at Disney. ;) She brought DD a charm bracelet with a Tinkerbelle charm.

6 years apart, 2 of my kids each lost a tooth while in the pool (both teeth were safe in their mouths) at the All Star Sports. The first time Tink and the Tooth Fairy left a note and a tooth fairy pillow that we got at the Tink Store (no longer available) and a Disney Dollar. My DD who is now 10 still has the note in the pillow on her bed. Also the bed was sprinkled with Mickey confetti. This past trip, we searched for that pillow (and had CMs help) but it is just no longer available. So we got a small, stuffed Minnie face purse and tucked the strap in to make it like a pillow. She too got a note, Mickey confetti on the bed, a Disney Dollar and a CM gave us a bunch of balloons to have for her too when she woke up. It was really fun and my girls were/are convinced that Tink and the Tooth Fairy are cousins.

One of my nieces lost a tooth while at Disney World. We had what would now be considered a Grand Gathering--Me, my sis, her hubby and 3 kids, and our parents. It seems the tooth fairy got a little confused and visited my niece multiple times. She made out like a bandit. I think she ended up with $6 for that one tooth!:lmao:

Some great ideas - I'll have to start planning. Unfortunately if the tooth makes it to WDW it will likely come out shortly after we get there and I'm worried I won't have an opportunity to grab something. Of course DD is very anxious for the tooth to come out, so maybe it won't be a problem :rolleyes1

It's funny that you asked about the Tooth Fairy as I dressed up as the Tooth Fairy for MNSSHP this year and a cm at POP where we were staying saw me and said that she had the perfect thing for my costume, she left and came back a short while later with a wooden tooth that they give to parents whose child has lost a tooth while in Disney to hold the tooth for the Tooth Fairy.

That's great!
Does anyone know if they have these wooden teeth at all of the resorts?

Didn't you know, Tink and the TF are related! The TF leaves my girls trading pins and Disney Dollars. DD9 wrote a letter to the TF asking for those things instead of money. :) Have a good time!

I suspected the two were related! ;)
When my DD asked me if the tooth fairy would still come at WDW I told her I'm sure someone would come considering all of the fairies hanging around the place! :cutie:

DD lost a tooth at Disney last Oct. when we stayed at ASMu. After she fell asleep, I went to the front desk to get some Disney Dollars. The CM and I were chatting and I mentioned that the Disney Dollars were for DDs tooth. The CM went into the back room, and came out with a little stuffed Minnie and a coloring book! The CM said, "tell your daughter that tink wanted to leave something too!"
I think DD was happier about the presents from tink than she was about the money! It was really special for her.

I think Disney dollars would be cute and bring some glitter (pixiedust!) that you could sprinkle under her pillow and a little on the floor to make it appear that Tink herself had been her tooth fairy. :wizard:
