Hi,

I feel bad for all you guys that are living in rain deprived areas!

But, too much rain is not good either. Here and towns around us have had 5", 7" and some 9" of rain! in a 24 hour period.

Flooded rivers and roads, fields, wet basements. The soccer field behind our house is a lake and ducks are swimming in it, LOL. State Patrol had to escort cars down our flooded main highway yesterday for awhile in the aft.

Weather is nuts! Back to sharkuuming LOL.

Hey Lisa,

a nearby town had 4" of rain in one hour. Canyou imagine?

Minnesot and Michigan are getting hit pretty hard with rain this year.

DS is moving to Lansing in Aug. He should fit right in!

We had similar rain yesterday here -- the water was literally up to the doors of my car in some spots.

My backyard looked like the Mississippi shifted course and headed to Cleveland!!

Please don't tell me the playhouse is gone!!!

Herc....yes, Michigan has had their fair share of rain.....and then some. I think it was the rainiest May in history. Can't remember, but something close to 10 inches. And for a 40 day period, it rained for 32 days!!!!!!

We thought we were going to be rid of this with the few days of nice dry warm weather...but it doesn't look like it.....just saw a few ducks in the yard just now....and that is not the norm in my subdivision!!!!!

Alot of towns around here were in devastation because of all the flooding.....

I have one of those intex pools that if the water goes above the ring on the top...it will collapse!! Waiting for DH to get home so we can syphon some water out.

They say possible another 2 or more inches by tomorrow!!!

Nope -- it's still there. It's in a different part of the backyard now, but it's still there. :) :)

Hey Lisa, I think you are right about rainiest May in history. I remember hearing on the news that we had more than an average rain fall in May. Yep...rain rain rain...sooo gloomy...how depressing!
