Too much for one day...

Is it possible to have breakfast at Be Our Guest before the park opens, do fantasyland, Cinderellas Royal Table, mani/pedis at the grand Floridian spa, dinner at 1900 park fare, Tomorrowland attractions, and then see the evening parade and fireworks at night?or would that make for a crazy day?

I'm getting ready to make dining reservations and am plotting days out on paper but I'm not sure that what works on paper works in real life!

Seems like too much time spent at restaurants. We usually only do 1 sit down restaurant per day and that seems fine. I think doing 3 will be too much and take up way too much time.

It would be too crazy for me.

Just your three meals will take 4-6 hours of waiting for your table and eating. I've not done the mani/pedi, but would expect that to take 1-2 hrs. Stake out a place to watch the parade/fireworks and watch both is another 1-2 hrs. If it takes the maximum on my estimates, that's 10 hrs. That doesn't leave much time for doing Fantasyland and Tomorrowland attractions.

WAY too much food and way too much time eating. There is no way I would do CRT and 1900 on the same day - too much food and too much Cinderella! I would keep the BOG reservation and then choose either 1900 or CRT for dinner ( I couldn't do BOG breakfast and CRT lunch, unless you share meals at breakfast).

I would also reconsider the mani/pedis at the spa. I had a pedicure there. It was very expensive for a pedicure that wasn't as good as one I could get at home.

It would be busy but you could do it. Get to fantasyland as early as possible, and youll be ok doing it I would say. Only thing I see maybe being an issue is after dinner trying to do tomorrowland before fireworks. Just be willing to miss one of them if it comes to that.

Sounds busier than a day at Army boot camp. But with an earlier morning alarm clock.

Honestly, we never try to plan more than one extra adventure per day (table meal or activity like the spa). And we never plan rope drop and late night fireworks on the same day. You could likely complete everything you said - but if we tried it, the next day would be a zombie day.

I find that you have all these wonderful plans, but you get easily distracted and then wouldn't want to haul off and run to yet another reservation. Just my opinion! I liked having only a few ADRS and just letting the parks guide US instead of us trying to control every minute.

Okay - thanks!
Sounds like I'm being crazy ;-)
It will be my first day at Disney world in 17 years, my daughter's first time, and my daughter's birthday so trying to make it special...

What's your group like? Adults, kids? Can you all get up early?

I think so long as you're mostly adults and early risers, if you do a PPO (if possible) breakfast at BOG then head straight to rides, you'd be fine. You will probably need to do some/all of Adventureland after the fireworks though, depending on what time they're at, as by the time you finish dinner, get the monorail over, and get into the park - you'll likely need to start thinking about grabbing your spot for the fireworks anyway.

Honestly it sounds like something I would plan, LOL. We always do 3 table service meals a day bc my family loves sit down meals. As long as you space the meals far enough apart you have plenty of time in between to do park activies. My family are not go getters at parks where we need to be in the parks doing everything possible every second of the day, lol...so we enjoy the breaks at the restaurants and to us thats also a fun thing to do as well as the parks and is part of the whole Disney experience. Although I would reverse a your BOG and your CRT...if you are on the dining plan I think BOG is really a waste of credits at breakfast time. I would try to get BOG for dinner and do a PPO CRT in you can snag that 1. Although not sure which dining plan you are on if you are on a dining plan and need a quick service meal a day then I would stick to your original plan :)

It really depends on your party -- do they also like to be on the run? 3 sit down meal to me can be a lot of food and a lot of time wasted. I would pair it down to 2 TS meals. Maybe CRT -- work on that reservation first and then work around that one. It seems as though that can be a tough one to get. I'm not sure if any one particular meal is more difficulty than another. It does seem like a lot of running around for reservations for restaurants and probably for the mani/pedi. It most likely won't be a relaxed day if you plan too many committed times. Just back off a little on the plans and allow for a little more free time in the park.

Any chance you could do CRT for breakfast? BOG breakfast is not as special as in no characters. You could snack or have a QS lunch. Seems like too much time eating to me as well.

I think it would be fine if you had done the parks, had no little children, ate like that at home (3 full meals) and had no stamina problems.

The fact that you haven't been to the parks for a while and it is your daughter's first trip, that is way too much to put in one day.

my family would kill me if i tried to schedule all that. are you doing just 1 magic kingdom day?

Unless you're going in next few weeks, there might not be an evening parade. MSEP's last day is October 9, and there is no scheduled replacement yet.

I would skip the mani/pedi, since that's something you can do anywhere. Depending on your DD's age, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique would be more special and unique. The Pirate's League at MK also has fun options.

I would only do two sit-down meals, also. BOG and CRT would be my DD's choices, mainly because the settings are so beautiful. CRT also has the benefit of meeting multiple princesses. 1900 is a fun dinner, but I wouldn't pick it above CRT, and two Cinderella meals in one day seems like overkill.

Okay - thanks!

My daughter and I always do a pedicure just before vacation. Adds to the excitement, feet are sandal ready and one less scheduled activity while away.

And not being crazy - just really excited!

BOG ppo is actually not TS AND goes very fast if you pre order... We found it faster than any other CS in MK...
I would either cx CRT or 1900. CRT especially is time consuming. But I would much rather CRT than 1900. I agree that it's a lot to get done in one day.
Maybe move the mani pedi to another day and do the GF tea the day of mani pedis?
By doing BOG ppo, you will be already in Fantasyland when you're done, so could/should get a lot completed in the am.

It would be a long day, but not a very busy one really. All you have planned between lunch and dinner is the spa time? Seems to me you'll have ton of down time there.

Okay - thanks!

I would take it down a notch. I took my little princesses last August and boy what a mistake I made. PPO beakfast at BOG on their first trip in the MK was not smart of me. Oh it was lovely, but there was the temptation to zip over two BOG, and so their first experience in the MK was less than magical. If I was going to do this over again, I would slow down. I would make an ADR for lunch at CRT, so that we could just enjoy that first few hours. I would not go to 1900 PF on the same day. If you want two meals, how about BOG for dinner? You get that Castle, meet the BEast, and Mom and Dad get to relax and let DD take it all in.

I would not plan too much on a daily basis. Plan your meals, but leave all the fluff behind. Your plan as it stands meal you will spend more time going from place to place than having fun in the Park.

I would have the mani/pedi before leaving home.
