eh yeah, we purchased the ddp, but I really (I do mean this) dont eat much, like barely a mouthfull, and only if I can get soft foods. I pay at buffets, but at ordinary ts places I just either order only a starter or have nothing/a bite of dh's meal.

we have adrs organised for almost everyday of our trip and still have 7 leftover ts credits, would it be far too wierd to throw someone a little pixie dust by paying for a stranger's meal? I mean at le cellier or something...
:wizard:

otherwise, I dont know what to do with them! lol we dont really have time to do any other shows/two ts meals :confused3

oh! I meant to ask, at akl, can we use ts credits towards in room dining? if so, for instance at breakfast or dinner, what can we order?

if i thought i wouldnt order a lot of food, perhaps you and DH can share some TS credits at restaurants, i'm not sure if they would have a problem , but i doubt it.

THen i would use some of my extras on signature dining, atleast you would get to experience the upscale side of disney.

You can use your TS for counter services if you have extras. We just got back from Disney and had to do this at our hotel as it was pouring and we didn't want to leave the hotel.

Regarding using TS for in-room this is what's listed on www.allearsnet.com

Disney Dining Plan now available to use for In Room Private Dining:

TWO table service credits may be used for Private in Room Dining :
Juice (breakfast)
Appetizer (lunch and dinner)
Entrée
Desserts (lunch & dinner)
Non-alcoholic beverage
Single serving portions only. Does not include hospitality platters, amenities, or merchandise.

Hope this helps!

Yes you can use them for CS! Or you can give them to other people dining at the same restaurant as you! how sweet! Have a great Vacay!!!

Sorry I didn't get this in my first reponse but I knew I read it somewhere and it took awhile to find it. This was in a recent Allearsnet weekly (8-22) newsletter regarding using TS for CS. Here's what was said:

In addition, now through October 7, if you choose to dine in
Quick Service locations using Disney Dining Plan Table Service
entitlements, you will receive a certificate for your choice of
one of the following items: two snacks, a collectible Disney
Trading Pin and lanyard (pin design may vary), or a "Where the
Magic Lives" poster featuring Mickey and his friends. All items
are subject to availability.

If you choose the two-snack option you can redeem the
certificate at any Quick Service or Outdoor Foods location or
participating merchandise locations (both snacks must be
redeemed at the same time, in the same participating location).
If you choose either the pin and lanyard set or Disney poster
you can redeem the certificate at merchandise locations listed
on the certificate.

So if you're going before Oct. 7, (maybe it'll be extended) you can use TS for CS and get a few little extras too.

With that many left-over credits, is DDP worthwhile? I'd really look at the numbers, and perhaps pay OOP instead.

I agree unless you are gonna use the new room service allowed for 2 TS you may be better off paying OOP.

That's what it sounds like to me, as well. The Dining Plan isn't for everyone.
