Too many choices.....

Hello everyone,

I have a few questions.

1. What are the crowds like very end of May / early June?
2. What are my chances of getting BCV at 7 months out in May/June.

I am confused on should I purchase dvc annual passes for upcoming trip in September for 6 days/night. We want to go to the water parks too.

I would like to go next year again in May/June 2012 but not sure. My youngest will turn 3 then and my oldest child will be out of school for summer break. Would like to wait to see if the youngest will be tall enough for the rides before taking him again. My oldest daughter is plenty tall and enjoys the big kid rides (she is currently 8 will be 9 next month). My son is currently almost 37 inches tall, not sure if he will be 40 inches by May/June 2012. Also wondering if I should wait for new addition in Magic Kingdom and maybe wait till May/June 2013.

We loved taking out daughter often when she was a toddler but due to the age difference both are into different activities. Would like to experience most rides together. We have a cruise booked in Dec 2012 for 7 nights too (on cash). Also worried if this be too much disney for husband? He likes vacationing at disney but he would like to try a different type vacation next year.

We always say we are going to take another type of trip but alway resort back to disney....guess it is that dvc membership.

Not sure about crowds in may/June, but the humidity keeps us away.
If you plan to go back you can save some money with the annual passes.

If you call right at 7 months, I think you'll get BCV, waitlist if you must.

Our DGC are now 6, 7 and 8, and have been going to Disney since they've been 1,2 and 3, but NOW, is when they all are enjoying just about the same rides! Finally, BTMRR and Splash are hits, Space MT, not so much. Just because the height requirement is satisfied, doesn't mean the enjoyment will be there, so I wouldn't necesarrily wait too long to go back to MK with your family. The kids have always had fun, but not all on the same ride, DDiL was thrilled in June, she said it was the best time they all had in the MK ever!

I hope you have a great 7 night cruise! We've been on 2 DCL cruises with the family and look forward to our next one together in 2012!

Gay Days run from May 31 to June 6 in 2012. And they bring big crowds. If you check their calendar, you can avoid some of the crowds by visiting the parks they are not. MK is usually packed on Saturday - and a lot of fun for everyone.

We usually go the end of May, early June because that is when our son was out of school. But he graduated this year from HS, so we can go anytime we want now, unless he wants to go, too. It was extremely hot this year. We spent a lot of time in the villa watching TV and watching the golfers on the golf course.

Thanks eveyone, I may try and go back in May/June 2012. We really enjoyed going with our oldest when she was our sons age. When she was 3-5 was the best time. She has been to disney 8 times so it is different for her now. Our son has been once at 19 months old. This coming September trip will be his second trip. Last trip he would get upset and wanted to stay on the rides he was able to ride. I think he would enjoy the other rides when is tall enough, maybe not all of them but most. I am really looking forward to this upcoming trip to see how it goes.
Our past trips have always been in Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, and April, We have never been to disney as major times except for this past December but skipped the parks when the Christmas crowd came in. Our daughter will be in 4th grade this year so it is getting harder to take out of school. She does go to a private school so they are a little more easier than public is here. But they have so much homework now.

Also wondering how Star war weekend is.

If I purchase hopper/water tickets and change my mind can I exchange them for dvc annual passes after the 1st day?

I am also looking forward to the cruise in Dec 2012. We have been on 1 cruise in 2007 so has been a while. I will be on the cruise trend soon asking questions.

We thought it was a mob scene this year. We left DHS very quickly and did not go back on the weekend.
