Too good to be true!

Posted the other day that my wife and I decided to try for a Xmas reservation this year because she'll be having ACL surgery in June (We are limited to teacher calendar). Didn't think chances were very good - way past our 11 month BCV window, and 6 weeks behind non- home resort window. I not only scored a 12/23-12/28 studio ressie today, but got VWL!!! We were willing to take whatever was available, and Moderate on points was our backup. I'm truly amazed. We just finished a trip at BCV and VWL, and could only dream of VWL at Xmas. Rocky at MS was surprised at the availability. There are studios available at BWV and some other location (I can't remember - my mind was elsewhere after he said VWL) as well. Just wanted to share the good news and alert those of you who might want to grab a villa for this Xmas. We were at BCV last Xmas and just loved the holiday trip. We also don't have to worry about the crowds too much because it's just us old folk. We also renewed annual passes in June, so we're set for that.

Congrats on the ressie!!!! Tell your wife I have been through the ACL surgery. It wasn't fun, and the rehab was long, but worth it.

It happens, miracle of miracles. I posted elsewhere that we snagged a 1 BR at WVL over Thanksgiving of this year TODAY. Folks, that's just a little over 4 months out. Magic, indeed.
