Too early to pack?

Oh my, the very first post made my stomach jump! Yikes! I've got to get packing ! We bought a new suitcase and I just love it, I am going to see if I can't find a big Mickey sticker for it when I'm there . It''s just me and my boyfriend going but I've been making lists since I don't know when and they are everywhere! There is so much to think about and the planning and list making has been half the fun and kept me going for the past 2 years ( okay I'm a freak)! But now it seems I best get packing for real!

How cool is that !

We're going in Dec., but I started buying summer clothes at clearance sales one size bigger for my kids. At the rate they're growing, they might outgrow those items by the time we go! Yes, I know, it can be on the cool side in Florida in December, however, I've bought things like shorts, short sleeved shirts, and new swim suits. That way they'll have clothes that fit and something nice and new, not "summer worn". I also like to take advantage of sales to pick up items from the Disney Store, like sweat shirts, novelty items for their goody bags, and Disney sleepers. Its become a tradition that they get new Disney sleepers each trip. My princess was sleeping beauty and cinderella last year. Seems now she's into cheerleader and Kim Possible. Still can't figure out what to surprise ds with. They grow up so fast!

I am leaving in 5 days and just started getting everything together....but I think I should be in good shape.

Not sure how old your DS is vhoffman, mine is 9 and I bought him two books to put in his backpack for the trip.....pirates of the carribean and the haunted mansion. Also found a princess search (like where's waldo) for my dd6. Bought them when I ordered my unofficial guide from barnesandnoble.com to get the free shipping!! Just an idea!

Hi Samantha,

I'm not sure why my kids haven't questioned me yet. They might think that I am packing for our trip next June! They do know about that trip which has made it easier to have Disney discussions with my husband in front of the kids. I'm sure they think I have lost it though by packing this early!! Hee Hee, little do they know.......
