Too early for Pumpkin Spice?

Is now too early for Pumpkin Spice anything? The Royal Farms near me literally just started serving it in their coffee machines this week.

I keep seeing .... Halloween/Fall starts July 5th. Am sure all retailers take that to heart.

Well I care my mind .....with watermelon still at peak . black berries ...and pears... besides there is no such thing as pumpkin...I know.. spent 2 years watching cans of Oregon squash being labeled pumpkin... greatest fraud perpetued... because there is a Santa

I wouldn’t mind if they would keep the citrus and berry flavors of summer around alongside the pumpkin spice, at least until after Labor Day. But since I love the summer flavors, and don’t like pumpkin spice, it makes me a little angry that the flavors of summer get shoved aside too soon. Why can’t they overlap for a few weeks?

I'm fine with overlapping summer and fall flavors. In the past couple of weeks, I've had pumpkin spice on a chilly, rainy morning, and coconut mocha on a sunny afternoon. It's all good.
