Tony's Town Square recently??

I went on April 14th. I had read many negative reviews on the place, but I'm glad I didn't listen to them. It was probably my favorite meal of our trip. I was celebrating my birthday and they put some streamers on the table. Nothing to extravagent though lol. I ordered the chicken parmigina (can't spell it lol), my mom got the lasagna, and my brother got the spaghetti and meatballs. We all said ours was very good. Mine was absolutely delicious! I was very pleased with my meal. For dessert, we split a tiramisu. It was also delicious. Oh and they have sweet tea which I was super excited about lol. It is so hard to find sweet tea at Disney. I will definatley be going back to Tony's. Oh and FYI, you can only go out the door that you come in. There was an open door with some tables outside I thought it would be a shortcut outside, yeah, its not. I looked like a big dum dum haha.

I think this thread is awesome. It is so clear by the answers here that EVERY restaurant at WDW gets the same reviews...some love it, some hate it, some think it is meh....there is no restaurant on property that ALWAYS gets great reviews or BAD reviews. So, take reviews for what they are...someone's opinion...one persons opinion...and try it all for yourself. After all, it is only ONE meal out of you whole life. You never know what you will find....

We just went for dinner last week and lunch too. For dinner we shared the zucchini sticks, they were very good and got them again for lunch and shared the calamari minus the peppers topping for dinner, good too, batter could have been fried more. My DH got the chicken parm and I got the shrimp scampi. Both good. the sauce isn't horrible. I make my own sauce at home, so no its not comparable but it isn't horrible, it was good. For lunch I got the chicken parm and my DH got a calzone.
Same waiter both times and he was good.
Its on par to an olive garden chain restaurant, so you won't be getting authentic italian but we've never had a bad meal there and like it there.

Fabulous! I really do appreciate the input from everyone and now I'm even more excited that we're going for it. Just another check off the Disney Dining bucket list! Hope to someday say I've tried them all(or at least most!):earsgirl:

Thank you again!
