HARDEES ( I don't know why?)

Once again we needed gas, go figure. I really don't understand why they
can't fit a gas tank that will hold enough fuel for like a 1000 miles
so I don't have to keep stopping. While there at it, maybe a food
truck that pulls up to you as your driving and tosses the food into
the window, like fighter jets refueling. Just don't order soup...

Any way since the gas station
was next to the Hardees and our bellies were hungry it seemed like
a good fit. No thats not two different
burgers, just a different angle. Burgers are so sexy they need to be shot
from different views.
The burger was OK, nothing special. The chicken was tasty
but I only had a nibble since it was for my wife. She liked it, but didn't
care much for the biscuit. At least it was filling and didn't make me sick.
Thats always a plus I guess.

We want to see what all the hub bub was about in Potter world.
I have to say they did a outstanding job with all the theming here.
Unbelievable. The butter beer was so mouth-gasmic.
That frothy topping was....indescribable. It was so good
we quickly finished the topping but was left with the frozen drink
itself...I need more so I was able to make the 3 girls tending the
cart laugh and then swoop in to ask for extra froth. She said
NO PROBLEM, and didn't even want any money. Awesome!
Thanks butter beer cart girls. By the way it was like 40°
and windy as hell. We still managed to drink the frozen drink
as we were freezing.

The forbidden journey was a walk on,
which was a surprise considering how crowed Disney was?
It was a fun ride but didn't live up to the hype. The inside
of Hogwarts was amazing.

We were looking for some place we never ate at before for my birthday
dinner. We were going to go to Via Napoli , but I can't see spending
$18 for a small pie, don't care if it's my birthday or not.
Then we were going to go to Fulton's but we really wanted mexican.
So I had heard of Chevy's before, but not reviews of it.
Wish I did. Man did it suck HARD.
It was like the cooks went in to the trash at taco bell and
replated it.The only tasty thing was the fresh
chips & salsa. The food was like frozen crap on a plate. Sorry to
put down crap. If you like real mexican food, DON"T COME HERE.
But if your one of those people that like Olive Garden for Italian or
Red Lobster for seafood, You'll LOVE it. Good luck.
In hind sight wish we want to Fulton's.
Too late now.

More bad news I need to go to work again, Sorry. Not really
sorry. I won't be posting tonight either, we have a work
X-mas party at a fancy steakhouse and won't be back
early enough. But I will have a pictorial on my personal
food blog if anyone is interested.

thanks for the update on Chevy's. I like Chevys but my husband doesn't like it at all. We actually eat at Fultons for the first time and my family loved it. I can't wait to go back.

Funny you mentioned that. Yes my wife did come back from the dark
side and is loving meat again. This trip was not ruined my silly vegetarian
dishes.

This was the first time trying breakfast here. Glad we did. The freshly
crunchy coating was not very sweet which was surprising. Three
large pieces and more than plenty for two. Two breakfast foods
morphed into one, me likes. Thanks Pucky

It was only out for breakfast time. Bring your own anglaise sauce,

So much easier and cheaper to grab the tonga toast here.
Still tasty but it wasn't as greasy as I like it. Yes I like it a tad greasy,
so whats wrong with that.
We also got a children's egg & bacon platter to off set the sweetness.
Nothing special, it's kids eggs. What a second, that would be interesting.
Children laying eggs and then the parents could just cook
them their own eggs for breakfast, maybe see off the excess. PROFIT!
Such simplicity. Just need to morph some chicken DNA with human......

This is how proud my wife is after calling me a "B"ickhead, because I used the other side of the register line
thinking I cut in front of the other person. Two sides of the register to use, not my fault.
Just though her grin was so devilish.

We always come over here to grab some fresh hot powdery beginets.
They are great as always. We needed something savory so we
also had the cheese omelet with hashbrowns. Nothing special
but does the job, a overpriced job.

Love the location of the hotel, it's right across the street from where our
dog was staying Best friends pet care. Maybe next we'll stay here.
