Okay, I just had to share... I was looking at your ceremony picts, and DF walked by and was like "wow - where is that, have you shown me that location?" :rotfl:

They really did a good job so last minute! It really looked like you'd planned it all along. Very beautiful!

All of the pics look great! I'm glad that you didn't slip up the steps on the carriage. Those shoes must be slip resistant. Except when I'll be wearing them. :rotfl2: Mine came in the mail yesterday and look absolutely perfect with my dress. I have told everyone that I owe it to a DISbride on the disboards! Thanks and I can't wait to see more pics and hear more about your reception.

It looked like a beautiful ceremony! Sorry you didn't get to have it at your location, but it is still gorgeous. Your pictures are beautiful. Misty did a great job. Can't wait to hear more!

awww I loved it! cant wait for more. The pics are awesome!

I am so so so so SO glad that you liked the room they put you in, and it didn't hinder your day. It's easy to see how happy you were... nothing was going to stand in your way!

Toni, you look beautiful! I am so happy Disney was able to make the room look so pretty - can't wait to hear more! (I am especially curious about "from Mickey and Minnie with love..." is it worth the money?)

Thanks for sharing your special day - my first anni is coming up (April 12th!) and although I didn't get married at Disney I was still a Fairytale Bride....I am reliving my day through these boards!:cutie:

Bridal Shower!

So I had my bridal shower on January 10th. It was SOOO much fun! We had about 60 people there. It was a brunch. The food was great! I can't believe how many gifts I got. It was incredible. Here are some pics of the fun!

Ok So I know this is an old post but I had only read the TR and I'm getting caught up on the PJ. This is the same country club where my future BIL got married! :yay:

Can't wait to read more

Do you have any pictures of your Sand Ceremony Jar after you put the sand in it?? Right now we are going to use two shades of pinks but my DF wants to use white as one of the colors and I am afraid that the white will just blend in with the pink. Also, did you get your jars from Disney? How did traveling with it go?

Thanks :)

:bride: Toni, it was so nice to see some of your pictures from the big day. I got a chance to see the end of your web cast that day, but missed most of it because I was busy at work.

So, I'm curious on some details. Do you have the reading from your cousin to share and what song did you use during the sand ceremony? I agree that the room went perfectly with your colors. Despite the weather, you had a beautiful ceremony.

I love the little touches like the memory vase. We did some flowers on chairs in the front row in memory of our grandparents that had passed away.

Finally I love the shot of you and Bobby in the carriage at the end; you also have some great ones with your dad. That is so nice that your dad wanted to at it to your wedding day.

I actually have a copy of it somewhere but I have no idea where it is...lol. It was basically him giving his advice on marriage since he has been married for over 40 years and some scriptures having to do with marriage that have guided him. I will have to look for it and post it on here because it really was beautiful. The song we used for the sand ceremony was Candle on the Wind from Pete's Dragon. Misty did some great shots. I was so happy with everything she did. She really captured the day perfectly. :goodvibes

Awww Toni!! So beautiful! I love the rose petal toss. So pretty. Of course the Cinderella carriage picture of you and Bobby is amazing. It's just like the end of the movie. Love it.

Thank you Lynnie!!!! :cutie:

Everything is absolutely beautiful!!!!

Thank you so much Tori!

Toni, your cermeony was so beautiful. Isn't it fun to relive it while you are writing it?

The ballroom did go really well with your colors, which is great!

So sweet that your dad wanted the carriage.

It really looks like everything was just about perfect for you. And I love to see how very happy you and Bobby both look! Can't wait to read more!

It really is fun to relive it all. I thought I would forget everything but it all comes back to you as you write. I was pretty happy with how they did the ballroom. My dad was all about the carriage. He didn't care about anything else except for that carriage...LOL. He is a super Disney freak so that was the ultimate thing for him.

Love that last photo, i'm glad you loved it even though it wasn't SBP.

Thank you!!! :goodvibes

What a wonderful ceremony recap! It's so sad that SBP was rained out for you but really, the ballroom setup was beautiful. Disney did a fantastic job. :thumbsup2 It's so cute that your dad wanted the carriage too! :goodvibes

Aww thank you! I really have to give Disney so much credit because they really did a beautiful job. I was very happy with them.

The pictures with the rain in it are GORGEOUS

Thank you!! I was actually happy it rained because it made for some great pictures.

What a lovely ceremony! Sorry that you didn't get SBP. The room really did match your colors perfectly! It's almost as if it were planned that way!

I kind of like the look of the carriage with raindrops on it. They kind of looked like extra sparkles!

I loved the raindrops! I agree they did look like sparkles. Everything always works out. I guess I worried about the rain for nothing.

so beautiful Toni!!

Thank you!!!!! :goodvibes

GORGEOUS Toni- Dont you just LOVE riding in the coach... lol

The coach was fantastic!!!! I want to ride in it again..LOL

They really did a good job so last minute! It really looked like you'd planned it all along. Very beautiful!

Aww that is so sweet!!!! It kind of reminded me of a small chapel. I didn't feel like I was in a ballroom.

All of the pics look great! I'm glad that you didn't slip up the steps on the carriage. Those shoes must be slip resistant. Except when I'll be wearing them. :rotfl2: Mine came in the mail yesterday and look absolutely perfect with my dress. Aww I am so glad you loved the shoes!!! I threw mine out because they got so dirty this past weekend. Not only did it rain on our wedding day in Disney but it also rained for our reception...LOL. I told Bobby we must have double luck. Now when we were planning our wedding up here we were supposed to get married this Saturday (April 4) so we are going to see if it rains on that day. Bobby said if it does that is freaky. :rotfl:

It looked like a beautiful ceremony! Sorry you didn't get to have it at your location, but it is still gorgeous. Your pictures are beautiful. Misty did a great job. Can't wait to hear more!

Thank you so much!!!! Misty was wonderful! I promise to share more soon!!

Wow!!! That is so funny. My sister is actually having her reception there in September. Its a beautiful place!

I do have a picture. Actually I just took it for you. :lmao: Bobby had white sand with silver sparkles. I think the sparkles make it stand out better. I was going to do green and pink but Bobby hated green so we went with the next color I had which was silver. They didn't have silver sand so that is why they added sparkles. I ended up loving it. It traveled really well. I had my mom drive it home but I think if you stuff the jar with tissue paper the sand will stay in place until you get home. We did get the jars from Disney. They give us the center jar but not the two individual ones.

Here is a picture for you. I hope it helps.

Something for thought, my friend did the sand thing at her wedding and when they had kids since they had room in the jar left, they added colored sand for each child. They had 2boys then a girl so did blue, then a light blue then pink. .... Just a thought!

My friend did that also. It was actually very beautiful to do. It was joining their families which was so sweet. :goodvibes

Toni, I'm really excited to read about the rest of your wedding day! Your ceremony looked so gorgeous, and I'm glad it all turned out wonderful despite the rain.

I had never seen/heard of the presentation of flowers to the mothers of the bride and groom during a ceremony until a few months ago, when I went to the wedding of some of my boyfriend's old high school friends. It's such a beautiful idea and I was glad to see it included in your ceremony!

Can't wait for the next installment! :cloud9:

Thank you so much!!!! Every wedding I have been to does the presentation rose thing and I always thought it was beautiful so I had to include it. It was really special. next installment coming up!

After Ceremony Pictures

Ok this is a short update but I promise the reception will be more detailed. This installment is more pictures than anything but we all love looking at pictures so it will be fun. In some of these pictures you can also see how cloudy and rainy it really was :sad2: but it all worked out perfect.

We didn't really ride away on the coach after the ceremony. We kind of got on it and got off. We did ride it over to the Boardwalk lobby just not at that time. Instead, we went back into the convention center and took some pictures. I will spare you all the formal family pictures as they are pretty standard and boring. Beautiful! but you know what they all look like. This one stand here and this family come up here. blah blah blah. We did take pictures with our small wedding party though.

We really loved the picture hanging in there of Steel Pier. We live close to Atlantic City so it was kind of cool to have that whole Jersey shore feel to our wedding.

Of course the Steel Pier looks NOTHING like that now and I would never dare venture under the Steel Pier for fear of crazy people attacking. :lmao:

So after that we headed onto the carriage while our guests headed down the long stretch of hallways to the Attic.

I really love the carriage pictures and I have to say the umbrella because of the rain really added to the pictures.

For the carriage shots in front of the Boardwalk, poor Misty actually laid in a huge puddle just to get a great shot. What a photographer!!

So after those we headed into the lobby and took some picture by the fireplace. Misty was basically asking people to move so we could take pictures..lol. They were all very gracious and moved.

The rain let up a bit so we headed outside for some more great shots!

After we came in from the outside, Celeste's assistant came and told us it was time to head up to the reception. When we got closer to the Attic the assistant was going to bustle my dress for me but we found out it broke. Grrr. So it was Misty and Celeste to the rescue and they fixed it up for me just in time to head into our reception...........

Which will come in the next update. :rotfl:

So up next..........RECEPTION FUN!

Wow go Misty! Those are some great shots Toni!

You know, the rain did add that extra special touch and I cannot tell how wonderful it is not to have to squint becuase its so sunny!

really, Toni, misty did a wonderful job!

I love your photos Toni, especially the last one. You can really see the love between the two of you. Misti did a great job!

Glad you were able to get people to move for your fireplace photos. We started out okay but then a group of people who allegedly spoke "No English" came and took over. :sad2:

Aww Toni I love the ones of you and Bobby! So pretty and not you know what LMAO!!!!

I love the one of you two up against the wall. So romantic.
