Yeah.. realized that I can fit into Youth size Tom's My size 8 1/2 works in girls 6 Toms. Youth Toms are cheaper than adults and some of the style are very similar.

What are the differences between the adult and Youth classic Toms?

I'm really not sure if there are any differences. We noticed that dd could wear the kids sizes and we were thrilled. She was looking at a pair of adults for $54, but realized the kids fit so we got the same pattern for $38

Someone told me the soles are different. Someone else mentioned that Youth's are wider, but nothing I can confirm. Just wondering if someone knew?


Something I didn't know but Youth 3 = Women's 5, Youth 4 = Women's 6, etc

Might save some folks some money when buy things like uggs and others that the price goes up when move into adult sizes.

I can fit into kid's 3 or 4s, and in general, shoes are wider. Both at the arch and at the ball of the foot and toe box.

So I don't go with kid's shoes often because they look sort of flat and clod-hopper-like on my feet.

I was extremely happy to find out that my daughter with small feet can wear a child's size 3. The chance of her getting a pair for Christmas is increasing.
