Tomorrow afternoon when the kids get home from school we're getting in the car and driving from NJ to WDW for a weeks vacation. It will be myself, my sister and my 3 nieces ages 10, 8 and 4.
The 10 year old is on the spectrum and has anxiety issues but she's very high functioning. The 4 year old is on the spectrum, has anxiety and can be a handful in unfamiliar situations. We last took her to WDW two years ago and it wasn't a lot of fun. She's come a long way in 2 years, she's in full day preschool and is smart as a whip. She knows we're going and is excited about the trip, so we're hoping for the best and prepared for the worst.
I really hope she has a great time, or at least a good time. I'm looking forward to seeing the magic through her eyes. I hope the magic of Disney rubs off on our special princess and that she has the time of her life.
Please think good thoughts for us and especially for Kyleigh.
