Tomorrowland Transit Authority Question

Hi! This is my first post. I have a question about the comentary on teh TTA in the MK. Last year in August me and my family (except older brother) went t o Disney World for like the the atleast 9th time, but never really payed to much attention to the commentary on the TTA Ecept for the part aruond were your turn above the COP and it says somthing like paging mr morrow mr tom morrow your party from saturn has arrived plesae give them a ring(our favorite part). Except this time we didnt hear it on our last night ,Saturday, it was different . So my question is ,Is the comentary for the TTA different for weekdays vs. weekends?

Do you know if COP was opened or closed on those days? They might change the commentary if COP is closed. That is my best guess.

I did hear them say something about Mr. Tom Morrow both times (March and May) and it was closed both times....not sure the exact wording.

I usually listen for the announcement and I don't remember ever NOT hearing it. Maybe the soundtrack was malfunctioning one day?

It is the favorite part for a friend of mine so I listen for it. They did play it when we were there 3 weeks ago, CP was not open (it was Sunday afternoon). I think when we were there last May they didn't play it.

OK, we rode it 11 times (DS 3 1/2 loves this ride) during May 13th-19th.....sometimes we heard the Mr Morrow, Mr Tomorrow and sometimes we did not - same thing with Mickey's Star Traders

The thing we heard everytime was the creatures from Galaxy M31 keep forward facing tentacles inside the vehicle at all times AND Citizens of Tomorrowland join Buzz Lightyear.....

Can you tell I have ridden it too many times????

Welcome Julie! My family loves TTA and we probably ride it more than Space Mountain. ! I can't wait until our next trip

"Mr Tom Morrow" is just peachy until the TTA breaks down and you're stuck on that sensor... I think my family and I heard that 25 times... that and "remain seated please" ugh! lol... I still like it though! 11 days!!!!!!!!

Maybe the CIA can use that for obtaining information

We were stuck at "Now approaching Mickey's Star Trader" p That was about 20 years ago but I can't help thinking of it everytime we pass there. This is my DD7 favorite right. We rode it 5 times straight on E-night: We were car with the annoying children yelling "hi!" as we passed others on the ride.

The last time, we did not hear about Mr. Tom Morrow, so I asked. I was told that when COP is not open, Mr. Morrow is not paged. boo hoo.

But it seems that others have heard the page when COP is not open.

I am glad to hear that, and also wish that COP was open more frequently.

I don't think it has to do with CoP though... it wasn't open at all when we were there just this past weekend but I remember hearing the Mr. Morrow speil on all the times I rode it (both weekends and weekdays). I thought the Mr. Morrow came from an old attraction no longer running at MK anyway (I could be wrong.)

Anyway, I am probably no help at all as to why you wouldn't have heard it, but I wanted to say hi and welcome to the DIS Julie

Just another data point -- we went last Dec and definitely heard the "Tom Morrow" bit. I'm 100% sure COP was not open. Not only was it closed but also I went to City Hall to ask if COP would be open at any time during our stay, and was told it wouldn't.

I also love the "paging Mr. Tom Morrow". Last Tuesday (the day after Memorial Day) was an E-nite and I definitely heard it then. Also was at MK earlier in the day and COP was not open. However, last November COP wasn't open and I figured that's why I didn't hear them page Mr. Morrow (I was listening for it). Now I'm just totally confused about why I didn't hear it in November but heard it last week. Both times-COP not open, weekday.

I love this ride also, but I liked it better as the WED way - "Hi, I'm ORAC1, your commuter computer"!

Sometimes I wish they would leave stuff the same...but, time marches on. Except on countdown calendars, which don't seem to move at all!!!!!!!!

I have not been while COP was open in like forever and have always heard the Tom Morrow page, so that is not it. Maybe a glitch.
