Has anyone heard when Tommy Bahama store will open at Disney Springs?

It's in Town Center so when that opens it will open. I have been hearing May.

I've been keeping an eye open to any tidbits regarding the opening of stores that feature the "fine island lifestyle" brands known as Tommy bahama and Lily Pulitzer (Owned by Oxford industries) for awhile now.

I'll keep Watching and post here accordingly.

I mean...if I have to shop hyper retail at Disney springs - it might as well be for things that you can only get at hyper retail anyway, right?

Normally we hear tons of questions about when will a ride open at WDW, now we hear people asking about when a national brand store will open! Certainly shows how much the Disney experience and expectations have diminished over the years.

Sorry but yes I am excited to be able to purchase Tommy Bahama clothing with Mickey Mouse themes.

Well see hopefully theyll add a bit more
come to think of it...they have the most in world of Disney.

I would expect that they will have a slightly enlarged offering of Disney prints...maybe some heavier weight items like the NFL line...

The DCL stuff is actually the nicest. But to be honest the upcharge was so egregious I wasn't interested. That's a big problem with DCL in general

BAHAHAHAHAHA

We non sorority ladies get the Lilly love too!!!!

I was making fun of myself.

I learned of the sorority fetish with Lily Pulitzer...go figure it's mostly a southern thing....and have seen it in action twice at the Lily Pulitzer warehouse sale In Pa.

I'm fascinated by it...it's like a trip to the zoo. :)

Why'd they stop doing stuff with Reyn Spooner? It's quality and slightly cheaper than Tommy. I know Pixar still does stuff with Reyn, but at one time so did the Parks.

Yep, women who love Lilly are nuts when it comes to Lilly on sale!

I think a lot of the stores will open later then the Town Center itself. Tommy Bahama did have a permit for it's build out on 1/20/2016, so it will probably be in the first group of stores to open.
Exactly, it will open as each store is ready not everything will open at once.

One of the things I actually complement the Iger management on is their handling of licensing agreements - not parks and Disney store merchandise.

They seem to not put too many eggs In The same basket on third party deals. So if they have a Tommy licensing deal (as they do)...that doesn't mean they will allow other similar ones to expire.
In a way, that allows them to have a wider variety and quality of items without footing the costs...just taking fees.

I point to the vans agreement...which produces a certain expected quality of product by vans while not interfering with the cheaper made Disney shoes sold everywhere else.

I wouldn't think that's changing anytime soon.

And I don't think Tommy bahama is interested in paying more for exclusive rights.

Their store is gonna be 95% like their others...straight third party retail that fits the vacation/Florida theme nicely.
