I couldn't agree more! Great movie, but as stated, not kid friendly. I love Kurt Russell, but don't usually like Val Kilmer although he is fantastic in this movie.
NMAmy, "I'm your huckleberry" is my favorite line!
I had my email set up to say that every time I got mail but it was driving my co-workers mad so I had to take it off. I still play it every once in awhile to amuse myself.
Who'd have thought I'd be madly in love with a tubercular opium addict?
You make me laugh NMAmy! My daughters are older, 17 & 19 so they have seen it, and I drive them crazy saying it! The trick is trying to mimic Val Kilmer! Very funny!
Oh yes, Love this movie! "You're a Daisy, if you Do" another great line by Doc! Also, my heart does go pitter pat when all the brothers and doc are walking down the street in their black clothes attire for the gunfight! Some fine looking and acting by these gentlemen!
DS's name is Wyatt. He was born in 1995. We have met
three others-all because of the movie. We actually wanted
to name him Doc Holiday and call him Huckleberry for short
but thought people would not understand. Really!
We talked about that film for two days. Val Kilmer is a genius.
I've had a crush on Kurt Russell since he was young-and I was
too! Disney movies! Ahhhhh.
Do I win cause I named my son after the movie? When he
was 7 weeks old, we took him to the OK Corral in Tombstone
and he was photographed next to the cardboard cut-outs at
the shoot out location. Funny! BTW, we just happened to
be in Arizona at a ranch and the Tombstone trip was a lark!
