Mice Chat has a new rumor update and one of the rumors is that Tom Sawyer's Island may open the first weekend in June!

Well, if it happens that will be cool. I had to get my "fix" at WDW over Spring Break because I didn't think there was any way that it would reopen before our mid June trip.

Most interesting! (And yes, my interest comes with a healthy grain of skepticism- these are just rumors, I know!) I wondered the status of the eastern gateway project, I even googled it the other day out of curiosity but didn't get anything we didn't already know. If the project isn't even on the docket for the next city council meeting- yikes. Do they meet monthly? If there's no city approval I can't imagine they're going to re-route the monorail anyway? (But from reports it sounds like it really needs some TLC so I can see why it has to go down for a bit no matter what.)

Their City Council meets twice a month.
