My husband and I ate here while we were at Epcot on 10/13.
We had eaten here a lot before the change and were excited to try it now.
We walked up at Noon and were sat right away at a seat near the window.
The restaurant is very modern now with lots of black lacquer and red. It also has a huge flat screen TV on the far end of the sushi bar. You can't sit at the sushi bar but you can watch from a closer area. When you are in your sit you are introduced to your three servers. We were approached by the owner of the restaurant later to see how things were and he explain that the staff went through almost a year training from experts in Tokyo on how to serve table properly. You never feel like you want or need anything once you walk in!
On to the food!
We split a bunch of stuff just to try it and had been at the food fest for an hour!
Jason started with a Kirin -large
I had the Sake Sampler!!!
We had -Miso Soup
It was fantastic! Fresh and flavorful!
Garden Salad with ginger dressing
After being at Disney a couple days I get Vegetables in ANY PLACE I CAN!
This was really good and tasted a lot like the dressing they have served in the past.
Assorted Tempura - shrimp, chicken breast and seasoned vegetables with a Japanese dipping sauce
This was good, not greasy like I remember it being the last couple times I ate here before it closed!
Then we had some sushi. Spicy tuna roll, yellowtail roll and avocado roll
They were all wonderful and fresh. Great Sushi! Will be back for it alone!
Then at the end they brought out a chocolate ginger cake for us because we had out Anniversary buttons on. It was very good!
We loved the new restaurant and will go back!
The view to us used to be the best thing and now the food and service is fantastic also!
