Anyone had the steak at Tokyo Dining?? I would love to eat at Tokyo Dining this trip but my aunt is very picky eater and looking over the menu I think the only thing she would eat there is the steak.

So, how is it?

Also, for argument's sake, as I'm sure my aunt will ask me when I bring it up - does the restaurant smell "fishy"??

Thanks for all help!!

We haven't eaten there yet but it is connected to Teppan Edo, where we did eat, and it doesn't smell fishy at all. And believe me, I'd have remembered if it did. We skipped Tokyo Dining because I was in that iffy, morning sickness stage of pregnancy on our last trip - any noticable fishy smell would have bothered me!

Thanks Colleen!!!

Anyone else out there try the steak??

No, I have not myself but last Jan a group of people seated next to us had the steak. They did not speak english but they had smiles on their faces and their plates were empty. I remembered thinking I would have to try that next time. We will be going in less than two months and that is prob. what I will get. I plan to do a complete trip report. And we have tons of reservations set.

Ate there this past Oct...it was OK...I don't mean, great but just ok. And no the place does not smell fishy. Very beautiful setting and very calming inside Toyko dining compare to the rest of the hustle and bustle of EPCOT.

I'm a very picky eater, too and have been trying to work out which new places I could try but would still be able to find something on the menu that I could enjoy. It seems that Tokyo Dining would be a good option for us so that the more adventurous eaters in our party could get something different, too. :)

We've often had the steak there. Yes it was good. You may want to let them know that they won't get an actual slab of meat on their plate. The chef cooks it and cuts it up on the grill.

Oh, and we've never noticed a fish smell in the place. I suspect the huge exhaust fans over each grill move the cooking smells out pretty quickly.
