I gotta admit i love the show. It isn't nearly as aweful as some of the other pageant documentaries out there. At least in this one the kids appear to be having fun. I think TLC is making an effort to try to show a more 'fun' side of pageants as opposed to all previous documentaries which had horrid moms and crying girls. Not that i agree with glitz pageantry, but this show does not seem as bad as some previous ones that had been floating around.

Megan I thought was a very cute kid, as was the other little girl (can't recall her name). Even without their makeup they were adorable. My hubby just hates the show.

The Ava kid just made me laugh with her daddy. Whooooooo, how much longer until he comes out of the closet?

Dang! I knew there was one on, (child pageant type show) but I couldn't find it so I went to bed..

I think there's another one just starting tomorrow night..

Makes me sick to see what they're doing to these little kids and it's obviously for the satisfaction of the parents - NOT the children..

OK I hate when people comment on things that they don't know about but I am going to be one of those people...I did not see the episode but I saw something advertising it about a week ago and is it just me or is it TOTALLY creepy that there is a swim suit competition for little girls??? I don't know much about pageants and like I said, I did not see this show yet, but I can't think of one GOOD reason to have little girls traipsing around in bathing suits in order to "win".

I bet there was alot of parents who watched Megan will the who thing knowing she showed up very late. Ava's dad...oh yeah, very gay. That family is gonna need some serious therapy in the upcoming future! As for Rebecca's mom, I also laughed when she said she felt skinny in that spandex!

Definitely a train wreck. Another one is starting in a couple of week on WE tv, Little Miss Perfect...They are keeping me entertained!

Ps. LTS - It's painful to me to see baton twirling as the pageant talent, since my DD trains full time as a competitive twirler. It undermines the true sport of twirling.
