My son is currently 2yr 6mos, when we cruise he will be 2yr 8mos. He has been completely potty trained for 4 mos. (1 accident during that time). He wears underpants only, day and night, no more pull ups or diapers. We often swim in an indoor pool and he will ask to be taken to the RR while swimming. Will he be able to play in the Mickey pool w/o a hassle? I don't like the idea of parents letting untrained children in the pool, but I also don't want to be put in the position of having to defend my trained child's right to be there. I guess this is not that big of an issue, if asked I will just explain, but it seems to be such an emotional issue on the boards. I feel I will have folks glaring at my son and myself.

If he is trained, he can swim in the Mickey Pool. If someone asks, just say he is trained. You can't help it if they don't believe you.
Congrats on getting him trained so young.

#1. No one is going to KNOW your child is younger than 3.
#2. I don't thing there is an age rule (youngest before you get in the Mickey Pool) but a potty trained rule. Basically, as long as your child isn't wearing swimmer diapers under the swim suit, then they are allowed.
