I recently replaced a Black & Decker one after twenty years...because it was getting old and looking shabby and no matter what the rest of the appliances did, the kitchen didn't look good and they were all depressed and angry and calling it names, so it would cry and...it was just a mess.
So, I sent it to a new kitchen where it'll fit right in and got me a shiny one. Morale has really picked up around here.
But after 20 years, it still worked fine.
Black & Decker is always a little more expensive and you DO pay for advertising...but it is a good name. I've never bought a bad product from them.
Good luck!
