Wow, you all have been chatty! I had a Halloween play group at my house and thought it would be rude to check my email or go on a message board! I missed so much! Thanks for the updates from twitter. I still don't have an account but hopefully I will in the next day or so when I make the MP.

Happy birthday! Did you do anything fun to celebrate the "big day"? I'm 28, but already making plans for my 30th at WDW I can't think of a better place to say bye-bye to my 20s, after having spent the last decade working there in college, celebrating my honeymoon there, and taking my baby there.

Thanks. It was in March, but that is 'just' for me. I spent two weeks at WDW and it was amazing to celebrate a big birthday there. My brother decided to bring my niece at the very last minute and I could not have asked for more.

Just noticed you're from Glasgow. My in-laws are from there, so my husband has many a relative there! I've never been, but we'd love to get over to Scotland to visit all the family sometime. Looks just gorgeous!

We could be related! Scotland looks gorgeous because of all the rain and bad weather, and most ex-pats remember the snow rather than the reality of slush. You should definitely visit and come say 'hi' in person.

WOW! Promised myself I wouldn't check the boards until lunch today. Just before that, I opened a twitter account to find all of these exciting tweets about #wdwmoms! I got goosebumps and immediately had to start reading all I missed here! Holy cow! You all have been busy!

Glad I ate lunch before looking because I know I would not have been able to eat! However, now my stomach is in knots thinking it could be today!

Although I am not able to post often, you all have made the time pass and understand my anxiety better than anyone I know.

By the way, I'm 41, born in 1971 - just like WDW! Best wishes until we hear the news!

Wow! a lot of tweeting going on, huh? Maybe I should finally set up an account?

Seeing how some people are tweeting back makes me wonder if I am at a disadvantage by not being on twitter and interacting with the judges?? I wonder if a hopeful might stand out more to them with an occasional tweet? or if they would not choose someone if they tweeted too much??

Trying to keep myself occupied with some cleaning. I just finished carving my Master Gracey epitaph on my halloween tombstone for the yard. (last year's was stolen) It's now outside so the paint can dry.

Anyone else go nuts with halloween decorations??? I think it's my favorite holiday!! Oh, and my favorite candy is Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins!! (and the trees for xmas, and the hearts for VD, and the eggs for Easter)


Btw, I am 38. Looking forward to 40 and beyond. I know I can't stop getting older, and I believe that each day lived makes me a better person... so bring it on!!!

I honestly doubt it makes any difference whether or not you are on Twitter... but there is a wonderful Disney community over there too! Come on over!!

I think we're just reading too much in to it, because we are hanging on their every word.



If they say they are making their final choices today, then that is what they are doing.

How long it takes to send the emails: I doubt it takes long at all. After all, they all follow the same format, it's just a fill-in-the-blanks email template, so if you guesstimate 50 emails have to go out, that would take all of an hour or two to get them together. 5 people working on - even less.

So, today, tomorrow - I honestly don't think they will make us wait any longer than that.

I am pretty sure that this "we are just arguing" thing means that they are having a little fun while working today. If you read all of the conversations, it makes perfect sense. It does not mean that they are spending the day still going back and forth. From what I have read, they have already gone over each one, narrowed down who they want for round 3, and now all 5 of them are voting in/out for each applicant.

Evidence being the tweets from last weekend indicating they were already going through them all.
