inspired by the next Wednesday thread, dh and I have a little disagreement about this. just a minor thing, but every summer it comes up. we laugh about it, each insisting we are the correct party.
if you want the house to be colder, do you turn the ac up or down?
Since it is Minnesota, and we are having perpetual cold weather, when my house gets too warm, I open the window. (As I did today...it was 60 outside, but the house was 76...too warm...)
Anyway, to answer the question seriously, my husband and I agree that you turn the AC down when you want it colder.

When we want it colder we turn the air down. When we want it hotter we turn the air up. It makes perfect sense because pressing the down button on the thermostat makes it colder, etc.
