To do the Dining PLan option or not???

I struggled with this for awhile. I crunched numbers, tried to guess what everyone would order and what limit I would set on my 14 year old eating machine! After it all I determined that if we skipped deserts, ordered water instead of soda's and told the eating machine that steak would not be on his menu:rolleyes1 we would spend a couple hundred less than the dining plan was going to cost. After discussions with my DW :teacher: and a few deserved thumps on my head she convinced me that I wouldnt want to travel all the way to WDW for a fun family vacation only to be stressed out :scared: every time I got the dinner check or when the 3 boys wanted their own $5.00bag of popcorn.....:scared1: So we opted for the DDP and I am at ease now and looking forward to our upcoming trip in June:banana:

Smart wife. :thumbsup2 Now just be sure to book several buffets for those eating machines! Funny how so many of us talk about sharing. I can just imagine how much sharing those 3 boys will do. :rolleyes1

I priced out the restaurants I thought we would want to eat at and what we would likely order. I don't think I would have saved much money at all using the dining plan. Plus we prefer alcoholic drinks with most meals and also appetizers rather than desserts. The only way I'd participate was if it was free dining.
