Continued...
After obtaining our treats, we headed off to find spots for the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. While we were waiting, we met a really nice family from New York who was visiting WDW for the 1st time. The four-year-old girl was celebrating her birthday and we asked her mom if she could come up front with us, so that she would have a good viewing spot for the parade. The mom was ecstatic and thrilled that we had even offered.
We loved the parade, but loved watching how excited the little girl would get even more. Cinderella, Snow White, and Mary Poppins yelled, "Happy Birthday" to her from their floats, and a couple more characters came over to interact with her. The girl and her mom were on cloud nine.
Here is a video clip of Snow White...if you look carefully, you can see her say "Happy Birthday" to the little girl!

Here are some of my parade pics...
This Mary Poppins pic is probably my favorite shot from the parade!
After the parade, we decided to head back to our resort for a little break. On our way out, the wind had picked up and the poor "balloon guy" was having a bit of a struggle. However, it made for a cool picture!
We soon reached the buses and took our seats. A little girl was crying in her mom's arms and the father proceeded to tell us that they were leaving Disney because their trip was over. Chris and I then heard the girl say to her mother, "But I want to take Minnie home!" Without missing a beat, her mom said, "I don't have enough cheese to feed that mouse. Plus, Mickey would be lonely!" Chris and I chuckled to ourselves as we rode back to POFQ. What a great day so far!
