To my fellow DISigners....

there are too many DISers posting to completed threads even if the DISigner hasn't been around for months or years.

if I spot such a thread should I go ahead and close it? obviously I wouldn't delete but these hijacked threads are getting out of control.

People request things of me in threads that I thought were long ago completed and I more often than not do not see the request.

Again, no responses if you are not a DISigner please

First off Thank you so much for all you do to keep everything running smoothly!
I think it is a great idea. If the owner comes back (if it is a designer) can you reopen the thread or would they just begin a new one?

I can close threads and reopen them. Mel and I have both used this to close threads while on vacation and reopen upon return

I like the idea of closing old threads --the DISigner can just ask for it to be opened when and if they return.

but kind of on topic
I guess I would like to express that we all do this for free and fun and that patience is is important. Our lives are busy with family,children,jobs,school exams,etc.
I know right now I am up for my job performance evaluation and wow it is alot of stress,It started the first day of school and I can't wait for Christmas when it should be over.

We always welcome new DISigners and appreciate there kindness to give and share their time and talents!

yes, Mel....I just added another reminder to the Creative Boards....sticky about the "rush" requests. They do seem to be multiplying and more often then not I find one waiting that I have missed. (or on one of those hijacked threads)

I also think that more DISers are not thinking out what they want before hand and I am asked to make more revisions then ever before....that stinks!
