Okay, I received some Christmas money from my parents and do not want to use it on bills, which I probably should. We are not planning on going back to disney for about 2 years. We were there in Sept. I want to either get tickets for the park or disney dollars or something??
I would like to get some tickets since the price will be lower now than when we do go.
I like to have some expenses out of the way so the cost is not too high when we plan to go.
I heard about the paramount deal. Do you think if I buy the 7day with character it will still be good in a couple of years?
What would you do with a little extra cash to get you to disney sooner???

Since you know you want to spend the money on Disney, but you aren't sure what you want to spend it on exactly, why not purchase Disney Dollars? That way you know your money is reserved for Disney and you won't be tempted to spend it on "the things you should" ;) We do that with our "Disney Fund" Whenever it gets to a certain size we "cash it in" at the Disney Store for Disney $'s so we know we have to use it when we go to Disney! If you decide in a few weeks that you want to buy tickets or AP's with it then you can!

Disnee Dad Says.....................................Put the entire amount toward your bills. Then skim off the amount divided by how many monthes till you go. Bills kills you!
Poor Tinkymom (my wife) lost her job last week, but we will endure. The reason, credit card limit $30,000, balance owed $13.98! $10,000 cash as a back up and we are just middle class.
PM me if you want more advice, I am a credit counselour, even though my real job is in a warehouse! I have helped 15-20 friends to get their money in order.
It's much easier when you are not intimidated by a suit and tie.
Hope things turn out great for your family!!!

Agree with Disney dad here...

Paying off credit card bills first is the best savings alternative.

I've got to agree with disneydad and treeoflife. If you've got credit card debt, pay it off. The interest will just continue to acrue and will outweight the savings on the park passes. The Disney Dollars will not appreciate in value and will limit you to shopping in the Disney Store since no other merchant on earth will accept them for payment.
