We went through a merger last year, my group did receptions, the other group did bowling and drinks... was way more fun bowling and drinking -fortunately(?) was in WDW when this year's party/reception happened, been told I didn't miss much... although there were a few after-parties (or so I'm told)



Definitely looking for a pirate princess, want someone who can pull her own weight (unfortunately, soon-to-be ex was a frilly princess masquerading as a pirate... sigh)

How well I can understand that one as my ex was a Pirate masquerading as a Prince............. and anytime at WDW is much better than an office party IMO

OK, serious answer now...

I would have to say "Prince", since I was born into a very privileged life; and I would not make a very good "Pirate" (I cannot see myself causing suffering in others in order to support my lifestyle... which is also why I would not make a good "Politician").

But if a Prince, then a Prince who always wanted to be a Pauper... and I like to think that I have achieved some small measure of that in this lifetime.

I work backstage in the theatre. It's my dream job. How many people can say that?

I like what I am doing now.. but In really dont know what I want to be when I grow up... let's see... when I graduted for my MT ... went back to to school for nursing... did nursing for 2 years.. got depressed and went back to the research... but prior to university Macy's sent me to finish acct'ing so I can be promoted.. but then got bored and left... after getting layed off I started my own catering biz.. it was fun.. and went to school for french cuisine and pastry ... after monthsof laboring in the kitchen.. I went back to nursing and lab and research... yes all 3 at the same time... all part time.. then got bored again and went back to finish my mba.. still got bored.. and took another course for dental hygene... so... there you go.. I still dont know what I want to be when I grow up.. but I do enjoy what I do now.. for now

Hmmmm. I'm gonna be in Vegas in February for the NASCAR race. Remind me not to get sick

OK...I will add my own question of the day on here....

I know we have touched on some of the things we are looking for in a mate on various other threads...ie..on a scale of 1-10 how much should your significant other love disney etc etc.... but lets put a different spin on that and since Timmy wants to know if we are Pirates, Princes or Princesses/Pirate Princesses what are we looking for....
So..guys are you looking for the Frilly Princess or the Pirate Princess and ladies are you looking for a Prince Charming or a Pirate..................

If I were still looking, I would have to say a woman of gentle spirit, who can communicate more with a glance than with words. She has always kept a bit of herself locked away, so that she would not allow the strains and trials of this life to overcome her.

She has the patience of one who knows that victory only comes to those who have experienced defeat; and the wisdom to see the unique beauty in what all others would call common.
