TL/BB - Is it an all day park?

Enough to do there to last the day from approx 11:00 to close? Also the rides that require the tubes, do you carry and walk up the flight of stairs -- or to the top of the ride -- with it?

I can't do a whole day at a water park - it's just too exhausting. We show up when the park opens and stay for 3 or 4 hours and then head to another park.

Agree, water parks are exhausting. You could certainly spend the whole day there but probably not without doing something more the once. We also usually stay about 4 hours.

Some of the tube rides require carrying them yourself, some of them don't.

I'm not sure if you're still thinking about going in May, but that's the only month we've ever gone to the Disney water parks. We are able to do everything at least once in less than 3 hours.

We love the water parks. If you were to "take it slow" and spend time in the lazy river, eat a casual lunch, maybe take a brief nap in your shady chair, you could stay from 11am to close. We usually stay 4 hours or so, but we could stay longer.

Yes, many of the rides that have tubes, you carry them up yourself. Not a lot of them bring the tube to you.

at BB, you carry tubes up the stairs on Run-off Rapids (127 steps). At TL, you carry tubes at Keelhaul Falls and Mayday Falls (one is a pretty short climb the other moderate) , carry the double tube up the stairs on Crush-N-Gusher (about 6 flights of stairs), and roll the family tube up the stairs on GangPlank Falls (its a short walk). Both parks can be all day if you want to relax and spend time in the lazy rivers or soaking up the sun, or can be 3 -4 hours if you just want to do all the slides once.
