Quiet sunny day here. Perfect 80 degree day with cool 60 degree nights. If only this weather could last.

I did really well at Victoria's secret...although I do have some guilt. They're having their bra/panty sale. Bras are $12.99...I had a coupon of a free panty and $10 off a bra (normal price). The girl (snarky-queen) took the money off! So I paid $8 for a bra, panty, travel kit and soap. Hee hee.

I have an Its a Small World ringtone! I made BF call me just so I can hear it.

You are the savings queen! That is fantastic!!!!! Can you find me some good airfare for Dec.???

I'd be humming that ringtone all day after each call.

The bowling pin pool was just a picture. We stayed in room #2447 which gave us a lakeview, fireworks view and close to the parking lot.

Pikester....you remember your hotel room number?! I really liked the way you decorated your windows...I know when we walked by, we always checked out how people decorated their windows and doors. Some people really went all out!

D&D...if you're still looking for airfare, I'd try Kayak. They have a "watch this trip" feature, where you plug in your info and it will track the flights for you. Good luck with the airfares! I just saw a thing yesterday about how the airline industry is hurting, primarily because the big budget travel flyers aren't going as much. I know we bought our tickets in April, and the prices actually stayed the same....

I'm just counting the days until I can check-in online....still not packed yet. Keep thinking about it, just haven't done it yet.

My younger nephew is getting braces on Friday. Its the big "eat while you can eat it" these last few days. I'm taking him to get them put on. I'm not really thrilled about it, but I have the time to take him, so I'll do it.

I tried Kayak (not the "watch this trip" feature) just to compare prices and I find that booking my airfare on the airlines site still seems to be cheaper. Cheaper being a relative term here. I am so bummed, because I did see a good fare this week but didn't pull the trigger right away and now it has gone up almost $20. She who hesitates.... I actually thougth it would go down not up, so I waited. Will wait until tomorrow or Wed. as those seem to be key days. Hopefully.

D&D....I totally agree that airline tix seem to have their best prices on Tuesday night/Wednesday. I read that the airlines try to sell over the weekend and what doesn't sell tends to go down during the week....

When you use Kayak, you click through to the airlines website. That's really weird about the prices being higher, but good for you for catching it! You may want to try Mobissimo too....

For the Lego lovers....on the Budget Board, there's a listing of Free magazines, and Lego Magazine is one of them...may be a good gift for someone!

I was so not good with Legos. But I do love the Lego store. Its amazing!

If you have History channel, Moden Marvels tonight @ 6p EST is about Disney World. I've seen it before and its really interesting!

Good afternoon. My youngest daughter had a cold and is napping at the moment so I thought I would take a minute to see how everyone is doing.

The weather is beautiful here. 70 and white puffy clouds filling the sky. I wish it were warmer but after all the rain this weekend, I'm not going to complain.

Did everyone see the announcement of the changes to Fantasyland? Not sure how I feel about it. Even though I have 3 girls, it sounds a little like Princess overload to me.

Pikester, those are great pictures. When we stayed at Pop in 2008, we had room with a view of the bowling pin pool. It was the only time we had a room with a view. Even though it was nice, I definitely noticed an increase in the noise level compared to the other rooms we have stayed at.

D&DDisney, I gave up on ever finding reasonable airfare from here. I hate flying and would want to take a direct flight. And the only direct flights from our local airport fly into Sanford. Which means renting a car. So, we drive with 4 kids for 18 hours. All I can say, is thank goodness for DVD players in the van.

Good afternoon ladies. It is still raining in Texas. The news paper said we had actually gotten almost 6.5 inches of rain over the past four days. Probably more than we have had all summer long. It has really cooled the weather down. No more shorts for DH at work! They even came in early from dove hunting yesterday. DS has had a cold and didn't want the cool air to make him any worse.

JOCAmom, Yeah for room service! That would be a nice perk.

Pikester, guess we will just have to swap phone info and see if we can come up with anything.

Yay! Sukie has pictures too! Were the bugs bees? We had a hive move through once and land in one of our trees. It was really kinda creepy!

Since they don't have assigned seats that is exactly why we don't fly Southwest. When we used them the one time we did not know so it was quite a shock when we boarded and did not sit together. Thankfully there were 2 seats here and another 2 together. If I had been seated near a window and saw a family trying to stay together I would have gladly offered my seat but not one person even made an offer. There were obviously single people sitting near every window and they would not even look up at you. They were not about to lose their seats! That was the end of our SW travels!
We now fly AA. Which airport will you be flying out of? I will try to help keep a look out for you!

For those who can drive long distances! We drove to Orlando once, and God as my witness, I'll never do it again! I have a five hour driving radius.

I'm the problem! Too much New Yorker in me, I have road rage issues. I don't physically do anything like stalk drivers but I do have some colorful language! Also, I have a fear of those huge trucks hauling stuff, I never know if they can see me....

Re:refurb @ MK....I'm not too sure how it'll be worked out. And I'm bummed that they're getting rid of Toon Town! I'd much rather they worked on a "secret area" and surprise everyone when it was finished...I can't imagine all the construction that's going to go on. But it'll be nice once its all done, new experiences. I do wish they'd have better TS options at MK....I couldn't get anything for our days there!

We'd be flying out of MKE (Milwaukee). So far only SW has the best rates. Not sure if it is worth the hassle. And, (hope I don't offend anyone here cause some threads get really nasty about this.) I refuse to pay extra for assigned or Early Bird seating. That should be my right when I buy the ticket.

The DIS was stinky last night! It took forever to get to the site and then, when I actually had a post almost finished, I hit the backspace button and it took me back to the previous page instead of getting rid of what I was trying to get rid of!

I was trying to comment on the driving to WDW which is what we did last year. We left at 4AM on a Saturday from NH and drove till about 9:30PM where we stayed at a hotel in Georgia. We were just over the Georgia border so the next morning (Sunday) we left at 7AM and drove to Daytona, FL stopping at the beach for a little while and then on to WDW. I think we got there about 2 or 3PM. The kids did such a great job on the ride down and home that we will be driving down again this year. DVD players and Mad Libs kept them busy as well as their Nintendo DSes.

Well, I'm off to work. I will be subbing for the Art teacher today. Way cool!

Good morning ladies! We finally have some nice weather here too...enjoy it all!

I was sad to hear Patrick Swayze died. Dirty Dancing was a huge experience in my high school existence! The movie was based in my area---the "borscht belt". The character Penny was based on a woman who we all took dance classes with! And who wasn't a puddle of emotions after Ghost?

With Patrick dying and the loss of John Hughes, its like watching all my childhood heroes pass away. When did I get this old?

I watched the Kanye apology last night on Jay Leno. With Serena Williams, Michael Jordan, even Roger Federer last night, there's like this wave of selfishness and no self-control. Its like manners and politeness flew out the window. The only good thing coming out of it is that as a whole, people heartily disapprove of such behaviour. And Taylor Swift! What a young lady she is! Such class and grace. Now THAT'S someone to look up for these little ones...

Ev, over the weekend there was a convention for D23 that made huge announcements re: WDW. Apparently they're adding rides to Fantasyland, but are sacrificing Toon Town to do it. Mickey and Minnie are going to be homeless. THey're also re-doing Star Wars and Muppets at DHS. I haven't been following it closely, but it seems really interesting. I'll make sure to take the time out and really enjoy Toontown....I love Minnie's house! I told BF I would totally be inspired to do our house like hers!
