Glad you both checked in. I am pretty sparatic around here though. Wish I could play more.

Forgot to mention in my last post I love the dating contract posted. I think I'm going to use that with DD.

I sure do crave chocolate when I sign on here lately.

OK, I have another funny DD story. I might have shared this one too but it is definitely worth sharing again.

I am on the computer and DD is next to me on the sofa.
She was 16 at the time.

Out of the blue she asked, "OK, mom I get the part of why guys like big butts, but why do they like them IN A CAN?"

Me... "What?"

DD..."You, know the song, 'I like big butts in a can, no lie"


As you probably know, the song goes, "I like big butts AND I can not lie"

Good morning! How is everyone doing this morning? Am I the only one in full panic mode? I have to take care of animals, finish up errands, do laundry and tons of other stuff before my mind can switch to vacation mode.....

My trials and tribulations of dealing with "men" continue. My older nephew asked if its too late to arrange to meet with us Saturday night. I told him if he can make it to the train station, I'll pick him up. No definites yet....

I have a question re: Saturday night! Am I right in remembering that the Outsiders will be kicked out by 9:30?

Racetrack, you have had some eventful days lately. I'm sorry to hear about DB and DSIL. Its a terrible time for everyone to get through. How old is their son? But congrats on DS taking initiative and telling his mother about this weekend! He's becoming more responsible and I'm sure you and DH have everything to do with it. I look forward to meeting him.

Hi LITC! sorry to hear you're so tired...but Baby wants to rest up before making the big debut in the fall!

M&N...I started "packing" last night, which really entailed attempting to go through some of my piles and finding my stuff. It was really disenheartening. I did manage to move some piles around, so at least I have some variety....

Looks like it's going to be quiet around here in a few days. Everyone have a great time! Those who like roller coasters..ride them another time for me. Even if I had talked DH into this trip we would have to cancel as he had a delayed project that he has to do Friday.

Foundations of Education -- pretty interesting

Basic Computer -- LOL, maybe I can finally figure out some of the more complicated things. I have learned more by trial and error. Then I forget what I did to make it work the next time.

Do you think I can get extra credit from being on this Forum? Ya'll will put in a good word for me right?

DL55---guess we can keep each other company while everybody is in Hershey. We can go buy some bags of chocolate and eat it while we chat.

OK, break is over. Gotta go hit the books.

I guess I should probably start thinking about what to bring for the weekend. I will check the forecast and see if I am going to wear capris, or scare you all with the sight of my pasty white cottage cheese thighs...

So, Saturday night we are doing the campsite thing. What about Sunday night? Is the party at my (and MK's) hotel or what?

Help! I can't find my bed anymore! Its somewhere under all that clothing!

I did tons of laundry, put up new window treatments, changed kitty litters, grocery shopped and washed the car. I am tired!

Wendy, I won't look at your thighs if you ignore my flabby arms!

Our hotel does have indoor and outdoor pools. Might be a great way to soothe some sore muscles after a day at the park!

Evening! Busy dyeing the kids hair tonight. I'll post pictures of the 2 littlest ones tomorrow.

Wendy, it's taken 16 years for DS to finally open his mouth. Don't give up hope on your 2 yet. They will get to that point.

Last time I checked the weather for Sunday, it's suppose to be 79, sunny and not humid. Sounds like perfect amusement park weather to me.

And whatever everyone wants to do after the park is good for us.

Shmu and DL55, wish you both could be there with us.

Magikitty, man, you were busy today. Makes me feel guilty that my greatest accomplishment today was coloring the kids hair.

Good evening TKers.

My Mom (Sukie) asked me to come on here tonight to ask our great Tker friends to please say prayers for her Mom (my grandmother "Beana"). My grandmother has (atleast I think this is what it is called) carotid artery stenosis or carotid artery disease. This is where the carotid artery located in your neck becomes blocked due to plaque. About 4 years ago she had a procedure to help clear it out but had to go back in last Thursday for another procedure. What we didn't know was that she not only had a heart attack during the last procedure but also had an attack during this procedure. She also had a collasped lung. There was a big family meeting with her Doctor to discusss her options. There are not many. She will have to decide if she wants to proceed with one of the three options offered that come with some big risks or do nothing. If she does nothing the Doctors say 6months to a year, they don't really know. So, everything is up in the air for right now.

I had more to post but I guess my computer decided I had written enough and posted for me.

It sounds like everyone is slowly getting ready for the Hershey Meet this weekend. I plan on buying a Hershey bar to eat Saturday night so what time do you think you will be meeting at the campground? I'll eat my candy while you are all together so it's almost like I'm there with you, sort of.

Shmu: Love you daughter stories!

racetrack: Can't wait to see how your families hair comes out. You all have way more guts then I will every have!

LITC: Get all the sleep you can now!

I just know that I had more I wanted to comment on but I can't remember now.

Someone is shooting off fireworks I guess. I heard this sound and finally figured out what it was. The first ones weren't as loud and sounded like it was coming from my furnace in the basement rather than outside!

Wow,it was quiet here last night.

Thankyou racetrack and M&N for the hugs and prayers.

I guess the sun doesn't plan on coming out today. It's cloudy right now and the temp is 68. Oops...Wait...I see something...Could it be...Oh it is...The sun just came out! Well, I hope it stays out.

The kids have an art class today from 10am-12pm and then DS8 has an appt with his ENT Doctor at 3:15pm. After that DS11 has Karate at 5:30pm. Looks like a busy day but with everything spread out it won't be to bad.

I remember something I wanted to comment on:

marie: It's not just your daughter that won't leave the cat alone. My DS8 has to bother the cat all the time so now the cat can't stand him!

whgrn: How are the kiddos doing at camp? I know it hasn't been very long but was curious if they are enjoying themselves.

Magikitty: Congratulations on getting onto Millionaire! I don't know if I could ever do something like that. I'd probably wet myself from nerves.

Sukie and Pikester...I am so sorry to hear of your news. Of course prayers for everyone and big virtual hugs.

I did not sleep well last night. It may have to do with nerves about Millionaire--I hope to hear from them sometime today. I've told everyone not to call me until after 6pm....my luck with the phone has not been stellar! Also, I don't know how to switch over when I'm talking to one person and someone else is calling, so we're going to avoid that altogether.

I am terrified of the mountain of clothing looming in the bedroom. I know I have to get to it sometime---somewhere in there is my clothes for this weekend. But again, I'll think about that later.

Shorts or capris? Depends on weather. If it's gonna be hot, I'm putting my chubby legs into shorts. Cooler and it will be capris. It's all about comfort here!

Then my stepmom had to go see her cancer doctor yesterday. Now they tell her that they not sure what kind of cancer she has. And they also found cancer cells in her bone marrow. She's freaking out and asked me to research the two possible types she might have. My dad has already done it but she wants even more reassurance.
Uuuugggghhhh, can things get any worse?

Not sure what I'm going to wear this weekend except for all my brand new Kyle Busch shirts. I won't be going swimming. There are lockers in the waterpark section if anyone decides they want to swim. I'll wear sneakers but might have my kids bring their crocs along too.

Never ask if things can get any worse. Prayers and thoughts being sent her way.
Brand new Kyle Busch shirts ey??? My family was instructed to wear only NASCAR shirts on Sat. I am wearing shorts and my Disney "Por Favor.." t-shirt.

I know of a few female nascar racers but none of them have seemed to make a mark.

Hope she does break into NASCAR and gives those boys a run for their money. She sure has the temper to be in NASCAR.

I thought we were going to hook up w/ Lighttech that night at a restaurant, THEN go to your hotel for drinks!
