DH would never drink anything I liked while I was pregnant either. Is your DH eating more now that you are pregnant? Mine would gain some weight right along with me.

I'm having some cravings right now. Could go for a big juicy steak, baked potato, salad and a Key Wester Smoothie from Rain Forest Cafe to wash it all down.

Really? That is one of the very few beers I can drink if I have the occasional beer!
No he doesn't really seem to be eating any more, I think he gets a kick out of how much I eat now though!!
No strange cravings yet, I sometimes do crave things, but nothing that I wouldnt normally eat.

Actually, Bud just tastes horrible. But the Jr. thing is an added bonus.

Use to drink MGD even after Rusty switched to Miller Light. Miller Light taste bad too. Now it's Corona but I can't seem to add the lime like so many other people do. It just seems wrong to add fruit to a beer.

And thanks for the list of things for camping. Some of it we already have like the grilling utensils. I'll have to pick up some more folding chairs and that's so big deal since they will be used at home anyway.

I do have one question. I know a bunch of us are on facebook but does anyone have myspace account? DD13 is buggin for one but I don't have much experience with myspace. She says all her friends are there and that's where they all chat. I want to give her some freedom and teach her to be internet savvy. But I really don't know anything about myspace.

Good morning all!

Wow, what a weekend! I had everyone here Saturday and of course, it rained cats and dogs. So we cooked out and ate in. It was still yummy. So nice to have the whole family together. I made 2 rhubarb pies, and cut a 5 in one crust and a 0 in the other so when I put them side by side it said 50 (we were celebrating my parents' 50th since it was the ONLY time we would all be together!) I made potato salad. I made the burgers, but the kids cooked them (did a pretty good job, too!) I felt like I cooked all day, and my feet were killing me!

Yesterday after church the ex took the kids and I headed to my sister's. I stopped on the way and bought 7 flats of Impatiens to be planted tomorrow (I know its a little late in the season, but at least I am getting my splash of color!!) I then went and got the white T shirts DS needs for arts and crafts at camp, and searched for hiking boots for the kids, which no one has. I ended up buying them online, but with free shipping, I made out pretty well! Had a nice visit with my sister, and then we met up with Mom and Dad and DBro for dinner. We went to a place we havent been to before--it was great and we will definitely go back! I had the best gnocchi I have ever eaten! And their bread was to die for! Always nice to find a new place for dinner!

My kids have 1/2 day today and tomorrow and then they are done. Today DS has to see the orthodontist, and after that we head back to my sister's. They leave tomorrow AM, so this is the last time my kids will see the cousins this summer. They are going to camp up at Yale ("posh camp", as we call it--SAT prep, photography, literature, fancy stuff like that, and they stay in the dorms at Yale), and by the time they get back, my kids are gone to camp. So it was a quick visit for the kids. DSis will be back next week tho, so I will still get to hang out with her!

Maybe one of you can help me with this question. Yesterday afternoon, I noticed a big yellow orb in the sky for a couple hours. I have no idea what it was. It was rather bright, and when I looked at it it hurt my eyes. I had to wear dark glasses to see well. Does anyone know what that couled have been? It even stopped raining while this thing was there!! Oh, and I saw the coolest thing last night! A vertical rainbow! It just went in a straight line from the cloud down to the ground! Wish I could have pulled over to take a photo!

Looks like my sister will be getting out of the hospital today. Still don't know if she will eventually need surgery on her neck or not.

That's crazy! We live east, not north, otherwise, I'd think we were related!

We're used to the heat, but it seems to be a bit excessive this summer.

Send some our way...Wendy's right, that yellow orb has been pretty scarce this year...they're promising a warm week so I'm hopeful summer might actually come.

Marie - schedule looks great...I also vote for Flametree, we had a good lunch there. A friend is going in Oct. and she was saying the AK now has a new picnic meal...you order it at the start of the day and pick up at lunch time. Counts as a counter meal.

Hi everyone. Too much to quote. Glad to see most had a great fathers day. I try and ignore it as much as possible. I just had my uncle to send a card to and he died this am. My aunt told mom that he got my card. I have other uncles on mom's side but I never sent them cards. My uncle was in a nursing home and didn't want to be. His Alzheminer's was getting worse. My dad would be 79 so I guess my uncle was around 83. I really don't feel he really wanted to live any longer. He lives in VA so mom and I will be making a fast trip down I guess as soon as the arrangements are made.

My FL friends said it was way hot there yesterday. They said the pool water was too hot to go in.

Like that ticker Racer. It'll be here before you know it.

WHGRN: I sure hope that yellow things stays around a little while. It sounds very pretty.

I came on last night, wrote up this nice post explaining why I have only been reading but not posting much, said hello to everyone; I even gave a big HELLO to everyone from Sukie as she has been working lots of hours and hasn't been able to get on all week. marie (You changed your pic again): Your plans sound good! We were going to eat a Flametree last year but it was so cold out that my Mom's fingers were turning purple so we ate inside at Piazzafari. The food is good there too. (We plan on eating at Flametree this year though.)

I just have to say that I am so jealous of your planning. DH and I decided to do the Quick Service Dining plan with maybe a breakfast at Chef Mickey's and the Hoop-Dee-Doo "out of pocket". I have no other Table Services to plan so I feel like I have nothing to do unless.........we some how get a code for Free Dining and then I better get my butt in gear and find places to eat!

racetrack: I joined Myspace a very long time ago but then I didn't know how to work it. I can't even remember my password. People have to invite you to join in order for you to see their page so there was no way to spy on what the kids were doing unless they let you in. You would have to make sure that you have access to your DDs page if you want to keep an eye on her.

I do not like any kind of beer! Give me a fruity mixed drink and I'm set. I also like those Hard Lemonades and Iced Teas. So YUMMY!

I've noticed the orb too. Its been out here for a few days. Also noticed that the amount of time it is in the sky is directly proportional to the temps.
