Well, that's not actually a horrible song to have stuck in your head. Sure it's repetitive but at least it makes one think of Disney.marie, I just noticed your from Decatur. My mom drives thru there to come to our house. And my sis has had a few court cases there (she's a lawyer). I remember stopping there all the time during school trips out of town. (I grew up in Wichita Falls, but went to school in Burkburnett.) My sis lives in Fort Worth currently, mom still in WF, and I'm a little east of Austin. It sure is a small world (after all). Now, that song is stuck in my head.![]()
Anyway, I grew up in FTW but have been in Decatur since right after I graduated. What little town are you in? We may have passed your way on one of our many trips to Corpus. I've got a cousin in WF and we used to pass through there all the time on trips to Colorado.
It sure has been excessively hot here lately. I got out to work in the yard at 9:00 this morning trying to beat some of the heat. Not sure I did. I am totally wiped out now.
I'm a little late but thought I would throw in a hello to you too, Sir Robin Hood.
LITC, I have to tell you that I would have gotten worse hanging upside down from that contraption any longer than I did. Doesn't look like any of us will be using it again any time soon. Funny thing is DH was telling us about his nephew who sent it home with him. He's a bachelor so he was alone when he used it. I would have loved to have heard him telling the story but all I got was DH's rendition of Howard thinking the thing was gonna kill him! I don't doubt it! There is no way I would have done it if someone had not been there to help me flip back right side up.
Now what in the world makes you think that some of us have pieces of exercise equipment we all buy with the best intentions? Have you been peeping in my window? Let's see, there was the exercycle.....then there was the easy glider thingy.... then the treadmill.... then the portacycle..... then the latest was the rebounder. So, uh yep, I have had a few!
How did the ultasound go today?
racetrack18kb, I've got a myspace but never do anything with it. My DS says he likes it better than Facebook. I looked up one of my friend's DD's pages one day and ran into some pretty rude posts from her friends. You may have to police your DD's sight every now and then to make sure her friends are not posting crap even if she is behaving herself. Make sure she sets her account as private, invites you and keeps out any perverts.
whgrn, sounds like a great weekend! Did you get all those flowers planted yet? You are certainly more ambitious than I. Bet you do have a better splash of color than I do too. I think you orb has parked itself over my house! I would be glad to send it your way and let you send me some of your showers.
BKMETV, so glad your sis is doing better.
M&N, I am so sorry about your uncle. My thought and prayers are with you.
MagiKitty, BKMETV and Pikester's Thanks for the Flametree recommendations. It was honestly my first choice anyway. I was just keeping a backup in case someone didn't like the sound of BBQ. I did see the picnic meal. It sounds pretty good but I am not sure about having to wait in line to place the order and then having to come back to stand in line again later in the day to pick it up. I haven't heard any reviews, have you?
Pikester, don't you just hate it when it does that!

Yep, changed my pic AGAIN! I was gonna put a photo of me but every time I tried it came up blurry. Does anyone have some good tips for reducing the size of a photo and not making it get all fuzzy?
Our trips are right around the corner...well, almost. There's bound to be something you can plan. For me that's part of the fun! Even without too many Table Services I've still gotta have some idea of where I want to go. We are gonna be so lost!
Hi D&DDisney,DL55 and anyone else I missed!
DD borrowed all my teacups this morning. She has them all set up on her table. She's got a stuffed animal tucked in each one and they are going for spins on the Teacups. She can be pretty cute sometimes.
As if 3-4 days of Jiu-Jitsu a week is not enough, DS has come up with the idea that he wants to take some Judo classes to improve his "game". So this evening we are driving an hour into town to check out some classes. I'm thinking we will probably go get something to eat while DS stays to watch. Jiu-Jitsu is one thing. It is generally relatively free from maneuvers that can cause a person harm. But in Judo they do a lot of tossing each other to the ground . I am not sure DH and I are up for watching DS being hurled to the floor. Say a prayer for us and DS!
