hello, (April) foolish one in NH!

I'm not really a big fan of April Fools. I don't mind little jokes or tricks but anything that could hurt someone's feelings is not OK.

I am so not a fan of April Fool's Day. I'm paranoid all day, suspicious of everything and everyone. Its not a good look for me.

At school it was a riot...got lots of shoe is untied jokes. I'm sure these days the tricks are more mean spirited...Heck---they don't need a special day to do things like that any more...it's a common occurance!

Morning!!! It's beautiful here already. I have the windows open and I love the fresh air.

MK, now that you said BF's grandmother is in her mid 60's that totally changes my opinion. When I hear grandmother, I think of my own who are in their late 70's/early 80's. I think that is way too young to just give up. I know from the little bit of research I've done, there are lots of alternative medicines out there. Even slightly adjusting the treatment she is on now can have a difference. Maybe not give her more time but make what time she does have left more bearable without completely giving up.

M&N, your friend's situation is completely different than some of the things I have read. But I really don't need to see a 12/13 year old boy in the ladies room. And I don't think he really wants to be there. Add in the 12/13 year old girls who can completely modest about the bathroom and it just seems wrong.

JOCAmom It's the "it doesn't rain, it pours" syndrome. Nothing happens for months then everything interesting happens at the same time.
Haven't read that new thread yet. I always read this thread first.

Just got back from the Dr's. We are both healthy as a horse. Looks like we'll be around for awhile.

I'm finally here. Went to church. Talked to my aunt and uncle in NC. Today was his last day at work. Had to give him encouraging words. Emailing friend about taking me to the airport. Emailing cousins about a sick aunt. Chatting with a cousin through emails. Checking another thread I'm involved with. I have not read fb yet...
