You'll all be happy to know that DS8 told me tonight that he won't be worrying tonight cuz he gave his worries to God yesterday and doesn't have them any more. "Mom it really worked. I'm all better now." Awwww....doesn't that just make you feel all warm inside?? I'm so proud of that little guy!!!!

Hopefully the storms we are supposed to get tomorrow won't screw things up.


***FYI- We are not going to be able make it to the race in MI after all. DH can't get the time off cuz he took off so much for the tornado. We'll have to think of another meet some other time.

I'd take Garth even in his heavier days. He just seems like so much "fun".

I know. I was happy to hear that Kitty broke up w/ David Cook cuz I had my eye on him for a while. Coveting my neighbor's "husband" if you will.
And JO only really wants Willy Wonka, so Tim McGraw won't be busy.

And I do agree w/ you on Richard Chamberland - but only in the Thorn Birds. Ahhhh, my very favorite mini-series!!!!

Guess we'll just have to take the TV outside on that race day, set my chair up close to some fat sweaty guy in the hot sun and call y'all on the phone,. Think that will give me the true racing experience???

Funny thing is, Curt has been talking about getting DirectTV hookup for the back porch to chill out watching the race. If I can convince him to get me a laptop, the kids can chat while the race is on.

You need surround sound for the true experience! Sorry about the plans...It would have been a fun meet...except it's hard to talk during the race--much too much noise! I've only been to Dover. My friend gave up his tickets but I'm sure it would not be hard to get any nowdays!

Morning ladies....no, I didn't have any dreams that I can recall. But then again, after so much chatting last night, I pretty much passed out! I didn't get past page two of my comic.

aw, D...I'd give David Cook to you. Or maybe we can share. I just wish he didn't play so hard to get. Good call on Josh Holloway. Super yummy. I loved it when he wore glasses to read.

Its doing that weird raining/sunny thing outside. I'm not sure what to make of it except that its really really humid. My hair is huge.

Have just bits of banana pudding left. Good thing I halved the recipe or else I'd be scarfing that down.

D....how did little DS do last night? Isn't he just precious?!

Kitty - DS did much better last night. He told me he "couldn't even think scary thoughts because God took them all away." I am so proud of him and so glad he finally got some restful sleep. The real test will be tonight when we're supposed to get t-storms. Darn weather. Its getting super humid here too.

I too found it quite nice when Josh Holloway would put on those reading glasses. I'm a sucker for the scruffy, intellectual looking type.

Morning everyone!!! Have had QUITE an eventful 2 days.

Spent Monday night/Tuesday morning in the hospital with an intestinal infection and was stubborn yesterday despite the drs. orders and went to work. Definately paying for it today. Have a killer headache and nausea and still have to go to work!!! All I really wanna do right now is curl up in a ball and cry/sleep. Not fun.

What really attracted me to David Cook was when he was talking about his love of crossword puzzles. He calls himself a word geek. And I love that! Even in his interviews, you can tell he's got some smarts. And he's scruffy too. Yummy.
