I went back to check on the President's park and its even better than I remember. The heads are 18 feet tall! Its like an American Easter Island.

Hmm...Vegas next summer, cruise after that? Wow, I have to kick some more bucks into my vacation fund it seems!

Rainy and gloomy here too. Still no cat. I spoke to Dad and he even asked about her! I haven't told him yet, no need for him to be worried the last few days of vacation. And I hope that I can buy enough time for that silly cat to return.

Have to say I am shocked how quick the dis has been moving this A.M., was actually able to read the thread without getting a cup of coffee while waiting for the page to turn..

I'm waiting to get my hands on the Passporter's Disney Cruise Line for 2010. The ship date has been pushed back until late May. I can't wait to read up on cruising with Disney so I have some idea of what I need to do and when to do it. 2011 is when I'll finally be able to get all the good details on the Disney Dream. I've been keeping an eye on when 2012 sail dates will be announced so I can jump in and get booked ASAP. I chose the week of the 27th (looks like that is Sunday the 24th through Friday the 29th) because the 27th is my birthday. If the sail dates for 2012 are similar to 2011 then that week is a Bahamas 5 day 2 stops Castaway Cay and a stop in Nassua on the Disney Dream.

I've been trying to decide if I want to book with Dreams Unlimited, Small World Vacations, AAA or a local TA.

I tried to clean the washroom this morning, and of course the person I share the washroom with dirtied it up again. I don't like complaining about people, but she leaves puddles of water on the counter, doesn't clean then up, then leaves puddles of toothpaste. I told her I was going to clean the washroom and her response was "but it's not that dirty". Sigh.

Lily, that sounds just like my kids. I keep trying to tell them it's so much easier to clean up when "it's not that messy" It's starting to work. Now I'm just going to have to convince them that it's even easier to clean up the mess as soon as you make it.

I feel so bad for my parents, I was probably a messy child too.
If the washroom isn't clean, we can get charged up to $30.00 for each thing that is not clean (i.e., the toilet, shower, sink). I am leaving tonight, which means that she will have the washroom to herself for 2 days. I can just see this ending very VERY badly.

Lily, when we left the dorm for summer, we had to have the RA come and inspect the room and give us the ok to leave. It avoided such problems of one roommate versus the other.

I wish I had learned the "easier to clean up now" issue. I still procrastinate just about everything! I've tried to re-train myself, but I know that if I am not in the mood to do something, I'll do it half-***ed (my stars!) and end up having to do it anyway.

I was just reading our local paper online and they had an article about Kate Gosslin. Apparently, TLC is going to film another show about her being a single mother to the kids. And she is also going to do another new show that has her traveling across the country to meet families facing challenges.

I get she has to work, who doesn't. But it seems to me that she looks for opportunities to travel.
