Good Morning ladies!! I can't believe I'm the first to post today--that NEVER happens!! Y'all were quite chatty again last night, but I'm up to date. I hope M&N gets back today. I miss her!
LITC,

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. But if you don't get to make it this year, I may have to twist DH's arm to drive out west next year so we can make a stop by you.
whgrn, I don't think Vegas would ever be the same if the tker met up there.
I think that would be just the coolest trip! I was in an online adoption group years ago and we all met in Vegas one summer. 10 of us. It was a blast! Then everyone came east for my 40th that October. That was my first experience with actually meeting online friends, and now I have you guys!
Mom's who have kids with braces, retainers, etc...
DS9's two front teeth stick out a little and turn in. He also has a little bit of an under bite. His dentist's office did not suggest seeing an ortho but I asked if he should and they said probably wouldn't hurt. I've been slow in calling and was wondering how early your kids saw an ortho. Should I wait or make an appt soon? DH seems to think that our insurance will cover some of this.
Pike, my kids went early becuase they both had issues. DS went into a space maintainer in 4th grade, and he'll get his braces on (FINALLY!) next week. We've just been waiting for him to get his last adult tooth. DD was also on a "tooth watch", and went into braces in 7th grade as soon as her last tooth came in. Now, my kids were both very late tooth-growers, so they would likely have gone in much sooner if they were "normal" (as if a kid of mine could EVER be normal...) I'd say get him checked out. He's certainly not too young!
I don't really like the days where it rains all day long. Oy.
Oh, me either. So dreary and gloomy, plus it just makes my body ache all over. We're to have another rainy day today and then it's supposed to get nice.
Oh poopy. I missed LITC. And yes, that was what I was talking about. I have the something similar and I have the same issues that Wendy mentioned. I need a huge station with an enormous storage capacity for all the accessories. I guess some people call that an office!
I don't know what my fave restaurant would be. Boma would definitely be up there though. There's still so many restaurants I have to try. Narcossees (sp?) is where again?
LOL Kitty, maybe that's what I need--an office in my kitchen!
My favorite restaurant, hands down, is the Rose and Crown Pub in England at Epcot. Go there ever trip. #2 is the Liberty Tree Tavern in MK, and we go there every trip too. I'm such a creature of habit!
For some reason Facebook isn't working for me. Anyone else having a problem?
It was fine for me last night, but this morning I was getting broken links all over the place. Now it seems to have stopped.
From what I've read, Sanaa is supposed to be like an Indian fusion restaurant. Yum.
You're way more adventurous than I am. I don't like even regular Indian, so regardless of what they fuse it with, I'm sure I wouldn't like it.
Ev said a bad word. Ev said a bad word.
MK, I'd love to Sanaa with you. But I think you should come to Vegas with us. Imagine the trouble we could cause there. I'm heading out west next summer and D&D might too.
I'm there!
Oh sure like I'M the bad influence around here!!
Uh, no, that would be...JO!!!
I'll have to try that...love trivia. Mind you I'll probably get dumb question like who is the 17th president???
Andrew Johnson!
Hey everyone! I'm so far behind I'm not even going to
try to catch up...

Although I did see something about Boma...yummy...we're eating there in September. It's one of my favorites and we got to eat there for my birthday last year.
Anyway, my mom is in town (got here yesterday). I go in to the hospital tomorrow night and I'm not quite sure exactly what day I'm being discharged. But I have my handy phone so I'll try to pop in after Elowyn is born to let you all know how things are going!
Miss you all!
Mary I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Hope all goes well. I can't wait to see pictures of the little sweetie!
Happy Birthday Elowyn! Welcome to the world. Can't wait to get to know you. You just take care Mary and enjoy every minute of your little girl.
oops. I just talked to Dad. He actually asked how his cat was. I need to find Chi-Chi. I think my neighbours must think I'm insane walking around in the dark in my bathrobe and slippers(Hello Kitty of course) calling for Chi-Chi, which in some circles is a yummy alcoholic beverage.
Now that visual just cracked me up! I hope she comes home when the rain stops!
I've been doing some research on the Gettysburg area and one of the places I want to visit is the Hall of Presidents and First Ladies. I thought of little D.
Oh! And let's go visit Pepper and head near Williamsburg-ish. THere's this weird attraction of President's heads. Eight feet tall ones. Its awesome.
http://www.presidentspark.org/
I also want to go to something called the Land of Little Horses. hee hee.
Eight foot tall Presidents' heads? Sounds spooky! But I like the idea of the Williamsburg area.
With all these great ideas out there for vacations, I may have to start working on 2013.

This year is WDW and next year is DL. The year after that is the
Disney Cruise. And all of them have some way or another to do with tkers.
MK, I really like VA too. If I can't get to Florida, that is definitely someplace I would consider.
Count me in for a Disney Cruise! Hmmmm, looks like I'll have to do all my vacatio planning around the TKers now!
Well, I'm off to get started on a busy day. I'll catch y'all later!
