MK, I'd love to Sanaa with you. But I think you should come to Vegas with us. Imagine the trouble we could cause there. I'm heading out west next summer and D&D might too.

Mom's who have kids with braces, retainers, etc...
DS9's two front teeth stick out a little and turn in. He also has a little bit of an under bite. His dentist's office did not suggest seeing an ortho but I asked if he should and they said probably wouldn't hurt. I've been slow in calling and was wondering how early your kids saw an ortho. Should I wait or make an appt soon? DH seems to think that our insurance will cover some of this.

DS8 had a bad overbite from sucking his thumb. The dentist put this $1000 appliance in the roof of his mouth for like 6-8 months when he was 6. Not only did he stop sucking his thumb, but straightened out his teeth. Then I asked if he'll need braces when his perm teeth come in and so far it's looking like NO. Dentist said 90% of kids if caught early can be treated. So I'm hoping that since insurance covered the appliance for $1000 that he won't need $6000 braces too.

Guess I just discovered another word dis won't let you use!! BAD EV!!

We're watching America: The story of us on History Channel. Now I'm also addicted to the history trivia game on the website. 10 questions as fast as possible. I just met my goal of breaking into the top 1000. Next goal--top 500. Some of these questions are super-hard!

Hey everyone! I'm so far behind I'm not even going to try to catch up... Although I did see something about Boma...yummy...we're eating there in September. It's one of my favorites and we got to eat there for my birthday last year.

Anyway, my mom is in town (got here yesterday). I go in to the hospital tomorrow night and I'm not quite sure exactly what day I'm being discharged. But I have my handy phone so I'll try to pop in after Elowyn is born to let you all know how things are going!

I couldn't get the quiz to work for me...maybe because I'm from outside the U.S. ~ that happens on some of the websites. I would have the opposite problem...Ok with world not so good with U.S.
