Sangria is a bit sweet. Its basically red wine with fruit and a little sugar. I'm terrible with wine, but sangria really is my weakness.

My dog understands Filipino. He knows more than I do.

But, but....if I don't take the kids to Disney, they might be scarred for life. ;)

Really, some of favorite things we do are just right around here. We go to classic car shows with the kids. There's always a flea market at them so we can give the kids a few bucks to spend on treasures. Let's just say, there are some weird glasses in my cabinets and we have strange artwork too. :rotfl:

Fill us in on sangria, MK. I've never had it before.

He is adorable. I can't wait to show them tomorrow.

Do you eat the fruit too? I'm not too big on sweet drinks but that sounds good.

Oh, the fruit is the best part. And its healthy (wink, wink). Legend has it that sangria was a way to take cheap wine and fancy it up. I'm all for it. I first had it at a tapas bar in DC, probably my fave restaurant in the world. They sell it by the glass, half carafe, and a full carafe. I can drink a half carafe by myself. I'm not much good after it though. I spin out of the restaurant and float away!

How would pineapple work in it? Maybe we need a fruit selection at our picnic---adult only of course! I just do not like wine though.

He's a cute doggie. I grew up in apartments. We never had pets except for a few goldfish and a turtle my friend gave me. My parents had to talk the landlords into letting a kid live there!

You can use any fruit you have. The key is that its ice cold and that you let the fruit and wine mingle a bit and make their sweet sangria love. I just looked up the recipe and I guess there's a little club soda in there for some bubbly.

well, ladies, I'm done for the night. One more sweep of the yard in my bathrobe looking for my cat....sweet dreams and don't stay up too late! See you in the AM!

Fruit soaked in wine.....hmmm. I could go for that and I don't like wine much either. And it makes MK tipsy. Are we going to have to attempt to bring some to Hershey?

We've had hamsters, goldfish, a bunny, a cat and now our pup. I'm not sure what's next on our list....maybe another kittie.

I couldn't imagine living where we couldn't have a pet. They drive me crazy but we feel like something is missing when we don't have one.

I'm trying to imagine Kitty tipsy. :rotfl: I'm sure Pike or D&D would have a smilie for that!

MK, thanks for the info on sangria. The race is on Saturday night.....might have to try a new drink.

Night!!!

Don't tell those redneck NASCAR fans what you are drinking...:rotfl:

Neither can I. Now when Jr was all scruffy and had full facial hair, it fit. Kasey is just too pretty to drink an ice cold Bud.

Did you see Jr's cleaner look on Sunday? He was looking horrible with all that hair...

I didn't like Jr with the facial hair at all. He looked like he just crawled out from under a rock. He needs to stay clean shaven.

Ahhhhhh, it's late and night and I see the TK thread turn to thoughts of NASCAR Drivers :goodvibes

Well at this time of the night--or morning--we don't get interrupted...;)
