marie: It was beautiful and green until the snow came. Now it's green and white! More white then the picture I just posted and that was just a little while ago. We will be getting warm temps starting tomorrow so it should melt.

I was showing your snow to my office mates and wanted to pass along the compliment. My coworker said "I love her landscaping!"

It's very windy here...feels like it could snow!

Went to visit my friend. She's very thankful her face didn't sag to speech get funny or any damage to hands or feet. Her vision is affected though. Part of it is black. They still haven't said what the cause is. She's in bed hooked up to heart monitors. The blood clot is on the outside of the brain. The cause determines the treatment.

I really hope things turn better for your friend. I am glad her face didn't sag though. Maybe the vision will come back. Keep us posted.

M&N sorry about your friend. A friend of ours younger brother passed away this week. 26 years old. Do not know what happened to him yet. Poor guy had a 5 month old baby. So sad and so scary. Life, live it well.

Oh my to your friend and her family. I can't imagine.

LITC, so sorry to hear about your friend. I noticed in our obituaries this week that a 21 year old and a 26 year old were listed. Very unusual. I always wish they'd tell you why the person died, especially when they are so very young.

Walter is the cutest baby! And those little teeth! He'll be a great TK big brother!

LITC, that is terrible about your brother's friend. Horrible when they are so young but even worse when they leave little ones behind.
I just noticed in your ticker today that Walter is almost 8 months old. My goodness that doesn't seem possible!

It's been windy here today too ladies. Silly me I got out and tried spray painting a trellis that has been waiting to be put together for 3 years. I may have ended up with more paint on me than I actually got on it.

Busy here today. I went to the doctor. Well, it seems that not only did I have kidney stones I also have shingles. Both @ the same time. I did have burns from the treatment but the rest of the sores still on my back and the continued burning pain is from the shingles.

So, it's another round of doctors and try to get this under control.

He was on idol and is about the same size as Ryan...so pretty short...Cameron Diaz towered over both of them.

Ryan is pretty short.

I was just reading an article in our local paper and our old school district is cutting more teaching jobs to try and balance the budget. Last year, they cut about 40 or so teaching jobs and this year, it's a little over 30. I am so glad we got out of there when we did.
