Just a reminder so you don't worry. I'll be at Mom's for the next week plus...Our FL friends are staying at Mom's so I will stay too. They get to Harrisburg around 10:15 tomorrow and get their rental and then go to Mom's. Mom and I have hair appointments at 10 but should be at her house before they get there. Then we are going to Shady Maple! They have a wedding on Sat and will spend Sun with her family. Mon they will see his family. We have a secret reservation for lunch at The Hershey Hotel on Tuesday. Their anniv is Sunday. They fly back on Thurs am. So I may come home Thurs pm. I have to get my mail sometime...plus my emails!

Have a great week...it's almost time to meet the TKers!

Have fun M&N! I asked on FB why you were going to be gone till Thursday but now you don't have to answer. :goodvibes And, I would worry so thanks for letting us know.

Wanted to share these. Aren't they neat!

Good morning ladies! Its another gloomy day here, but better to get it over with now than when we're on vacay! And its coming up soon, eh?! Woohoo! I better start packing.

I even bought new pajamas for you ladies.

M...sounds like your June is jam packed! Have a wonderful time with your friends and Mom.

Ooh, Harry Connick Jr. is on the View now. That man just oozes charm and sexiness.

M&N have fun!
D&DDisney Congrats on becoming an Aunt! You get the good part (holding/ loving) but get to hand her back for the bad. :goodvibes
LITCOh I hope it's just a sore throat. Get better.
Pikester Love the smilie..hope DH and I continue to grow older together. :goodvibes We're already getting old.

DL55...you already packed? How's your weather?

Its raining cats and dogs here. And its cold. Just want some cocoa and to veg out.

I swore I wouldn't go to the casino, but I had some free play and I was already nearby at Staples...so I went. I "invested" 20 of my own, and 20 of the free play and I won $385! I hightailed it out of there...but that's more money for vacation! I have another $20 in free play tomorrow, which I may pick up and save to play another time. Can't push my luck.

I have to use that money to pay off the last of that stupid water bill anyway.

But still doing the happy dance!

:cool1: MagiKitty has won again! I went into a store to buy a lottery ticket..they couldn't connect to the main computer. I took it as a sign that I shouldn't bother to waste my dollar. :rotfl2:

Not packed yet waiting for my "final" laundry day. We still have to set up the trailer. We have gotten lazy and don't set it up all the way. Just open enough to put stuff up but not secure against the weather. So we pack all the day before, turn on and pack the fridge and close it up. We'll probably forget something as there is stuff all over the house. Don't have the clothes out because the animals like laying on them. :confused3

I'm avoiding laundry too...but at this rate, maybe I should just pack my galoshes! I hope you don't run into the crappy weather, but maybe you should put in some wet weather clothes too!

Don't forget batteries, sunscreen, and meds. Those are super important. And your chargers!

Where are you going first? What's the itinerary? You're going to have such a cool trip.

I'll just mention the highlights. ;)
Stopping in Branson, MO to see a show and DH can golf.
Going to see some of Mammoth Cave.
The peak of our trip- Hersey and friends. :)
Cooperstown so DH can see the baseball hall of fame.
Niagara Falls just because.
The same for Michigan and Wisconsin (I think there is some golf involved), although we were going to meet D&DDisney there. (I think it'll be easier to meet at the picnic :goodvibes)
The last two days we'll just fly low and stay at hotels because we don't want to deal with 4th of July partiers. :rolleyes1

Hey everyone.

I have some bad news. I don't think we are going to make it to Hershey for anything but the park day. Curt went down in the basement last night and found water all over the floor. Apparently one of the pipes in the wall had broken. We've been cleaning up since last night, we had lots of stuff stored in the basement. Curt had to take off today and will be going in late tomorrow as well. Plumber has been here.

I'm really, really sorry everyone. I knew our luck had been going to good lately. :sad1:

Oh no JO! I was wondering where you've been lately, but I thought it was all the end of the school year stuff....

Its terrible to hear about the basement and all the damage. I hope its not too terrible. Regardless, we would love to see you but its perfectly understandable if things go awry...here's some pixie dust for you and your family! Hugs!

Oh JO, that is awful! :hug:Was the plumber able to fix it? I was beginning to worry about you but I'm glad to hear that nobody is ill or injured. If park day is all we get that is fine with me! We'll just have to pack alot into that little bit of time. :goodvibes

Morning Ladies:

Glad to see the President decided to stop by...about time he realized how important we all are!!

D ~ Congrats on the new niece.

MK ~ Congrats on snagging Harry...he's quite the catch!

JO ~ Sorry about the pipe...we just had to do the water heater...lucky that we caught it before it became a real mess.

M&N ~ Have fun at Mom's

LITC ~ Hope the throat is better.

Pike ~ HI!!

Are you coming cross the border the view is much better from our side?

Morning ladies! Its another day where the weatherman is way, way off...supposed to be warm and sunny. Its overcast, rainy, and chilly.

Have to get up before dawn tomorrow to hit the road to head to my sister's graduation. Always a great pleasure, considering I'm not the best morning person.

Ev, I have to agree with you....the view is much better from your side! My first trip with BF was to Niagara Falls and we took the risk and went over to the Canadian side (his first time out of the country) and it was great, except for the fact that I had to parallel park.

Morning. Thought I would stop in here for a few before I keep working on the basement.

I had to go to Livvie & Alexis's school this morning. They had a parent/student breakfast for those students who missed no homework assignments this year and Alexis was one of them. Livvie was too but I guess they don't do the breakfast for the kindergarten kids. Anyway, I had wonderful meal of overcooked scrambled eggs, dried out sausage, cold hash brown and a carton of OJ that I could drank in one sip. But it was absolutely wonderful to spend that time with Alexis and see her get her certificate.

I still haven't kicked this cold and to add to all the other problems, Curtis is giving us a major hard time right now about school. He's been lying to us and to his teacher left and right. He's probably going to fail English this year because he is refusing to do his end of the year essay.

I hope everyone is doing well. :grouphug:

Oh JO sounds like you're having a rough week, but congrats to the two little ones on their great accomplishment this school year. I'm so proud of them!

All this stress isn't helping you get better either.

Sorry to hear about Curt. I wish he'd realize that the one he's hurting the most is himself. I hope he figures out that life would be a little bit easier if he didn't make it so difficult!

Hugs, girl. I hope the weather is nicer for you to get the basement done and everything cleaned out.

1 more day of school!!!!! Well, actually its more like a half day for both the boys and I. :yay: So looking forward to relaxing a bit. Seems like we've been on the go now for months. Things need to settle down a bit.

JO - So sorry to hear all the bad news. Especially with Curtis. Email me if you need to.
That breakfast you ate sounds like it was made with LOVE :lovestruc. Those are the best kind. I love it when the kids make us breakfast in bed. Everything is usually nuked too long and the portions are enough for 6 people. But I wouldn't trade those moments for anything.
Hope you're plumbing woes don't cost you too much. We will just enjoy you every min. at Hershey!

DL55 - Have a great trip. See you in a few weeks. While you're in WI check out Door County (very near Green Bay) It will be worth the trip - even if just for the day.:thumbsup2

Kitty - Congrats on the winnings again!!! Maybe we should take you to the casino in Hershey??? Congrats to your sis too!!!

M&N - Say hi to mom and friends for us. Have a good week.

JOCAmom What a lousy week (except for the breakfast ;)) Hope there wasn't too much damage.

BKMETV We are staying on the Canadian side. Already have our passports in my fanny pack. :cool1: (Good thing I proofread..I forgot the 'p' in passport. :rotfl:)

MagiKitty I hope the weather turns better for the graduation.

Just one more question re picnic. Has the time for the picnic been finalized? I have 5 pm in my mind but then again I always want to eat at 5.
