After meeting Pikester and LITC, I just do not see where those words come from! They are sooo nice!!! Of course I never believed the saying---nice girls don't swear...or drink...etc!

Marie---just watch for bedbugs! There's a nice place to eat at the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center.

Mom started tears at breakfast---would not say why. She even put on her own shoes and socks today. I had to do the laces.

It's a beautiful fall day here. I saw 4 hawks along the road from Lancaster. Haven't seen that many all summer.

Even though I have been absent from DIS I have tried to keep up on FB but I PROMISE I will catch up and keep up. I have almost finished my classes for October and told my girls and ladies we will scale back some for the time being. I still have a ton of embroidery work to finish but that should be a good thing

There hasn't been much good to report and things turned bad so quickly that I really didn't know what to say or do.

I'm feeling better now----because of ya'll.

Hale turned 13 in March. She's a pretty good teenager....messy, scatterbrained but, basically kindhearted.
She is doing pretty well with the situation but, her mom's very sick. We haven't told her EVERYTHING-she worries so.
We had a meeting at school last week to let them know what is going on and the teachers all said she is shy and quiet. I told them that that must be the result of a recessive gene

I got a great surprise from Suki in the mail yesterday. I can't wait to wear them.

All booked for my Disney Crusie!

Mom and I will be sailing on the Disney Dream from June 24, 2012 to June 29. It's a 5 night, 2 stops a Castaway Cay, 1 stop at Nassua, 1 day at Sea itinerary. We are in stateroom 2025 (check it out here if you like, just zoom in http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/cruise/photos/DisneyDreamDeckPlan.jpg ) which is an 11C. Without transfers or insurance it's $1982.34 for the cruise. We could have done one in August for about $500 less but I really, really, REALLY wanted to go during my birthday.

Now I just need to get all the other stuff lined up.

The cruise sounds great. You were smart to plan June and not August (hurricane season)

Harrahs in Atlantic City supposedly has this indoor tropic area/pool/jacuzzi. I am so ready for that!

Have to go grocery today. Have nothing! Making a pasta salad and some chicken korma. Yummy! Just need to get motivated. Its been raining on and off, so don't really know what outfit to put on.

Didn't mean to drop off. I had to applique a little t-shirt and a tiny onesie for someone..BTW working on onesies is a PITA but EVERYONE seems to want that sort of work.
I have to go to the dentist this afternoon (gotta get that done before Monday) and I am letting Hale have a sleepover party tomorrow.
Tonight Hale has a Band concert.....life goes on.

Oh I missed Bopsmom Thinking of you.

I'm annoyed right now. I was supposed to take my cat to the vet but I can't. DH went golfing and DD has moved out and both have the keys to the truck. I don't have transportation. DH usually doesn't golf on Thurs. DD has turned off her phone (she was sick yesterday when I called her). She's supposed to finish getting rid of the c*** in her room. She works on Thurs but I suspect she's home sick.

Been busy getting all the paperwork together from all the contractors, to send to insurance and mortgage company for reimbursement or payment. GOOD GOD...what a PITA.
But I am glad that things are getting back to normal here and that the house finally looks good again.
