Hey guys! Sorry I have been away.

Let's see since I've been gone....interesting stuff lol.

Me and DD went to the beach during the heat wave....BAD IDEA. We had to have DD taken via ambulance to get "rehydrated". Seems she had been at the Vans Warped Tour all day two days prior...then at the beach all day the day before. I felt like the worst mom EVER! It was all okay though. She didn't pass out, just got dizzy, chills, stomach cramps...typical heat sickness. We will be more careful next time. I went out and got a misting fan for Disney and I will make sure she stays better hydrated.

Then yesterday my DS friend got carjacked!!! . He is okay but he got grazed in the arm by a bullet...he fought back instead of just giving the car up. Stupid!!! But he will be okay. It is pretty scary to me though.

Other than that, life is pretty normal. I better get back to work now.

I will hopefully read back some tonight when I get home.

Your not the worst mom, going to the beach would provide relief during a heat wave. I think it was the two days @ the warped tour. For the life of me why do they always do that in August??? When it hits hear your always hearing of kids passing out and getting dehydrated. Glad she was okay.
Your DS's friend was very lucky, very lucky.

lilmiss Ben may have sleep apnea,. If he does he can get a CPAP machine. I've heard that really helps.
pepperw23 Glad things turned out okay. A learning experience that everyone would prefer not to have happened.

DL55---We all feel your low count pain! D&D and I have beenh going at it for a long time! There are lots more disers out there with higher counts. You just make your posts mean something when you post---unlike those of us who go to the game threads.

Just saw it was 97!

I went to see Ramona and Beezus...it's based on a famous children's series by Beverly Cleary. Not a swear word in it! She said she's going to say a bad word and it's guts! Ramona just marches to a different drummer. She gets laughed at in school. She is just adorable. I cried even! Laughed too!

Evening! It was so hot and humid here today even I was complaining about it. I did spend 2 hours outside this afternoon trying to remove rocks and to level off a section of the yard to put up a new pool. I swear our yard is nothing but rocks.

pepper, missed you around here. And all you posted about is way scary. Livvie has a problem with the heat. The first 2 times she got almost as bad as your DD, freaked me out more than anything. Felt like the worst mom ever for not seeing the signs sooner. Now I know the warning signs and you do too. Take advantage of the indoor shows at Disney and maybe a trip back to the hotel during the hottest part of the day. She'll be just fine.

Sorry about your DS's friend. I'm glad he's ok. But smack him upside his head and tell him his car is nothing compared to his life.

DL55, if I didn't have "house suckers", I'd be Dising right along with ya. They are now infringing on my computer time.

Bad news...the tree man came today...about $900 to take down 2 trees. I decided to get the pine tree down out front. It takes up one half the yard---from the house to the sidewalk. Troy said it was getting bad looking. I can get a better deal if he does both at once. The front of my house will look funny...the tree hides my bathroom window and bedroom window from the street.

Good morning ladies! Sorry I've been MIA lately. Got super busy and had some more visitors....really, I've been enjoying seeing my family, but much prefer if they would space it out rather than everyone showing up at once. I'm so behind on all my regular living and chores, I have so much to do. I"ve decided to ignore it and play catch up here.

Only read the last few posts....pepper, sounds like you had some hairy situations! Tell DD its her responsibility to take care of her precious body---that means drink when its hot! Dehydration can come on so suddenly and it is so scary. And a car-jacking! Goodness me, everyone stay smart and safe.

M&N...we had a tree taken down a while ago. Its really expensive! I suppose its cheaper than the alternative of a sick tree taking out your house --and your house is so darn cute too! I will warn you, you will miss the tree. Ours was outside my bedroom window and boy was it bright after that! I never realized how I had lived in shadow before that....

JO, your guests are still there, huh? I can tell you, you'll be doing the happy dance when they leave. Again, I love my family....its kinda a relief when they leave and life gets back to normal!

Have to go back and see what I've missed the last few days. Been super hot here too. Need to clean the Kittymobile, but its just too humid these days!

Hey Kitty! Glad you survived the relatives...now you can plan pay backs and visit them!

Hot here too...must feed the birds and water the plants.

I drawer cleaned this am...found old glasses---wow, are they big! And heavy too. So glad they improved on them! Taking them to be recycled by the Lions Club.

Ok, so I'm caught up. Y'all made me laugh with the shameless post counts.

I ventured out to the grocery store today. Got some lovely cantaloups. We make this drink with shredded melon (like long strings), water and some sugar. Its so good!! Its in the fridge now. Its gets better after a little mixing, you know, so everyone mingles a bit.

JO--I so liked that band! I never get on YouTube, but I really like them.

I attempted to clean the Kittymobile, but its too darn hot. I just straightened out the trunk and the seatcovers. I'll get in there with some spray cleaner another day.

I think the Kittymobile will forgive you. I told Patrick that I was sorry it was so hot in the garage. We did go for a spin to Hershey today but it was hot in the lot for him! We didn't leave the chocolate in the car---told Pat is wasn't his fault!

Hope you all are keeping cool. Debbie got light headed out in it. I went and got Pat so she would not have to walk out in the lot.

Joco Jackie was in a video? I know you posted a local band that she knew.
I have actually been on the boards quite a bit the past couple of days.
I have DVC pts and reservation pts. that will expire on 9/30/10. So I posted them on the DVC rent/trade board. Received many PM's so in between that and calling MS to check on what is available.
Did rent my DVC pts. now just need the ressie pts. to go.
That is also why I haven't been on FB. It is sorta like being a travel agent.

Hey disney54us! Yeah, she was in the video. The band is local but they are pretty good for a bunch of kids. I've seen them and they keep it pretty clean in concert.
