Morning Kitty. Missed you but knew you were being busy! LOC was beautiful inside. I went to the Am Indian one last time. I enjoyed it. I'm sure I heard someone say they saw the First Ladies dresses and Obama;s wasn't as pretty in person as it was on tv. Aren't they in Am Museum? We thought about the Holocast Museum but you need a timed ticket and should get them ahead of time...we didn't know that You can stand in line but it could be over an hour wait so we didn't try. It was a hike down there and then waiting in line..had other places we wanted to see anyway. Glad you do not need your phone to get online. Are your neighbors having problems too? That's just awful. what would we do without cell phones. I know several people who stopped their land phones and just use cells now. Rest up for the next concert...

M...I am not pleased about my phone service right now. But I figure if they can't come out until Friday, there must be something major going on around here too. I was wondering what we did without cell phones too...like if your phone was out, how did you let the phone company know?

Did you only go down to DC for the day? Did you go with a group?

When I was there last, they had moved the more popular exhibits from the American Museum to the Air/Space so you could see them still, and some of the American was open. I always like to go the art museum too, but I can never someone with the patience to go with me. I also like the Asian art museum, its next to the Smithsonian house. I could spend days in DC!

I can't believe its back to school time already. July just flew by! Walter will be one year old soon! Ack!

Been suffering through one of those summer colds.

Feeling like crap. Need Kitty's Hello Kitty ice pack for my sinuses. I guess a soccer ball one will have to do.

Kitty - sorry your phone is out of order and its cloudy there. Maybe you need some cookies to cheer you up.

DS8 just helped me make a batch of sugar cookies here cuz it was cloudy and rainy. Thankfully the sun has come out now, but it is so darn humid now.

M&N - Sounds like you enjoyed DC. I can't wait to go back and see all the things we missed. Just can't see everything in 3 days.

JO - Maybe you're being too hospitable with the in laws. Need to set them up in a tent in the yard instead of that comfy bed our yours. Maybe then they'll start looking for a new place.
Glad things are going well with your DS.

LITC - Can't believe Walter will be 1 soon. Time sure flies.

Boys have been playing with Legos all morning. Building houses and stuff. Then a tornado comes by and knocks it down. Does damage and breaks windows. Then they repair the damage and start over. (They have better insurance adjusters than we do. )
I guess its theraputic for them to play like this.

JO, I wish there was some advice I can give about getting rid of annoying family members. I just can't seem to shake mine either. Hope you figure something out! Glad to hear that things with DS are going well (for this week anyway). I wish that it will continue and make things easier for you. You have so much going on!

Although the poop discussion is over I have something to add. Was watching the Daily Show last night. The author he was interviewing was talking about NASA toilet issues. Like watching for escapees.

The thing that annoys me most about the phone is that they always tell you about having a landline in case of emergency. Like if there's no power, you can always use your landline when there's no cell coverage. But lately, its the storms that are knocking out my landline but my cell is ok!

I did arrange to have my landline calls forwarded to my cell. No calls yet, so I guess we don't need it either!
